AN: Fluff. This is just pure fluff.

"Jack."

"Hmm?"

"I need you to move."

Without opening his eyes, Jack responded by wrapping his arm more firmly around his wife's waist and moving closer to her.

"Jack."

There was a hint of warning in her voice this time, and he pried his eyes open to look at his beauty of a wife. He gave her a tired smile.

"Hi."

"I need to get up."

He sighed and shook his head. "No you don't."

"I have to get to work."

"Your boss is gonna be late today."

A small smile tugged on the corners of Katherine's lips. "Oh, is he?"

"Mhm. He's gonna be late, and he won't even notice if you ain't in on time."

"Ah yes, but if I'm not in on time then I won't get my work done, meaning I'll have to bring it home and stay up late working on it, so you'll have to go to bed alone."

Jack paused. "It's too early for logic. C'mon, go back to sleep."

"I really can't."

"Just stay a few more minutes."

Katherine sighed, though she didn't seem all that exasperated, and sank back into the pillows. He leaned up and kissed her softly, and she melted slightly into her arms."

"I love you." She murmured, and he grinned, letting his eyes drift closed and pressing his face into her hair.

"I love you." He repeated softly, his voice slightly muffled.

The stayed like that for a few more minutes, just a husband and wife spending their morning together. All too soon, however, Katherine gently rubbed Jack's arm to get his attention, and he groaned quietly before rolling onto his back, releasing her from his grip.

"You gotta go?"

She nodded. "I have to go."

"Okay." He sighed. "I'll see you tonight." Though this was a statement, he said it with a question in his eyes - always wanting the reassurance that she would come back.

"I'll see you tonight." She confirmed.

He smiled, taking her hand, kissing it gently, and letting her go.
