Chapter 5: Who is 'S'?

Life is not the same after the death of my friend. I have known him for years and he became a brother to me.

But, it's already too late and I have to move on.

What matters now is the letter from the anonymous S that keeps disturbing me since I read it. I contacted Inspector Edward about it and to my surprise, he doesn't know about the letter being inside the file.

Wala akong alam kung sino siya, pero nararamdaman ko na may kinalaman sila sa mga pangyayari sa loob ng D.I.C.E. Club.

Pero, ano ba ang ginawa ni Christine na pumasok sa eksena si S? Is it personal or just out of boredom?

And now, It's target is me now that I joined the club.

I began to wonder, kung hindi ko nakasalubong si Christine sa araw na iyon? Maiiwasan ko ba ito? Buhay pa rin ang best friend ko at pinapatuloy ko lang ang buhay ko bilang isang simpleng estudyante?

Pumunta na kaagad ako sa clubroom pagkatapos ng mga klase ko since ako na ang namamahala ng club, it is my job to maintain it.

Dito ko na din sisimulan ang ibestigasyon ko.

Pumunta ako sa mga file cabinets at naghanap ng mga possible cases na maaaring kaugnay si S, kasama na dito ang unang letter na nakita namin ni Juancho.

Nagulat ako sa dami nang cases nahawakan ni Christine sa loob ng West Xavier High, suicide cases, murder cases, abduction cases, homicide cases at iba pa. Pero hindi gaya ng ibang detectives na humahawak ng kaso, puro case closed ang resulta sa mga investigation ni Christine.

Nagagawa niya itong lahat ng mag-isa?? Tanong ko sa sarili ko.

Matapos ko basahin ang lahat ng cases, nakakuha lamang ako ng isang case na directly related sa S. Nilapag ko ito sa mesa kasama ang dalawang letters.

Subject: Murder-Suicide Case

   We have recieved a call about 'some thing' is going to happen at the gymnasium at 1:00p.m. so, we quickly responded about it. We first thought that it may be a potential threat but, we are wrong.

Exactly 1:00p.m., we have witness a student attack another student, repeatedly stabbing him with a knife. We tried to stop him until, the murderer stab himself to the throat.

With no clear motive of the culprit, we have no choice but to call it as a Murder-Suicide case. Inspector Edward recovered a letter from the murderer's pocket from a mysterious sender who named themselves as S.

The letter said that they'll be expecting something great to our skills as detectives and admitting that they are responsible to the murder-suicide that happened.

We began investigating this mysterious sender and reveal who they are...

Sumandal ako sa monobloc chair at napaisip. Hindi ko inakala na kaya nila magpatay ng inosenteng tao para lang makuha ang atensyon ng D.I.C.E. club.

At higit pa doon, the file used the subject 'We' not 'I' or anything else. Is it possible na, may ibang members pa na kasama sa club? Kung ganoon, nasaan na sila?

Maya-maya, may kumatok sa pintuan ng club that shakes me away from my thoughts.
