Chapter 29

1 week later

We still haven't fully recovered from the attack but we have laid to rest all the lives that were lost that day. Killian said his superiors have taken over the mission and decided to end our stay here. And today is our time to go back home to Misthaven. Our place here is not secure, and it's a target now for the enemy.

I am super excited to go back home, and so is the rest of the team. We long to sleep in our cozy beds and go to work at a safe hospital. We all stood there in the airport in a spot where there wasn't that much damage. Groups of 4 went in the helicopter that took them to the plane.

Everyone else boarded except Robin, Regina, Killian and I. We were going to take a small plane back to Misthaven. As we boarded I look down at what was our home for these past few months. So much has happened, good and bad. I can say that I can finally close this chapter in my life and start a new one back in Misthaven.

I look back inside and I see Regina and Robin hugging each other. It warmed my heart to see them so happy and so in love. Killian walks by me and gives me a glass of champagne. "What is this for?" He chuckles. "To our future." I smile and nod. I take a sip and sigh.

That's when it hit me, how are we in a private jet? "Killian why aren't we flying with the others?" He chuckles. "Remember the president that you helped save?" I nod. "Well let's just say he got a hold of me and said he was so grateful for what we had done that he gave us a couple of gifts."

I gasp. "Really?" "He heard about your accident and felt guilty as well, so he's giving us 4, a paid vacation, which includes hotels, a private beach for both couples and some other things." I gasp. "But it wasn't just us, it was the whole team." Killian chuckles. "They each got a $500 bonus so don't worry." I giggle.

"Yes and it so happens that it's his private island, where the two private beaches are at. We are staying there tonight then tomorrow we explore it, all 4 of us." I gasp again. "We need to rest up and we all deserve it, especially after the hell we've been through." I nod.

"What about work?" He smiles. "Oh Emma you always have to worry about something huh?" I blush. "Yeah." He smiles and gives me a kiss. "Well that's taken care of so all you have to do now is relax and don't strain your shoulder too much." I smile and nod.

3 hours passed and we land in the island. It was so beautiful and breath taking. Robin and Regina got into one car as we got into another. After a 10 minute ride we come across our little beach house. We walk in and we see the president there. We both stood still as the ones driving the car go take our bags to the room.

"I hope you're liking my humble home." We both nod. "It's beautiful." The President smiles as he walks up to me. "Doctor Swan, I cannot thank you enough for saving my life, I know you risked everything and so did you captain Jones." We both nod.

He grabs my hand and bows. "I hope you enjoy my thank you and pardon me for being here I just wanted to welcome you personally." We both nod and thanked him. "Oh and this is only the beginning, more gifts will come to the both of you when you land in Misthaven." I smile and nod.

"More? Just by letting us be here is enough." He smiles. "That may be so, but showing my gratitude is something that is earned and you've earned it." I smile and nod. "I hope you two enjoy yourselves, if anyone treats you bad let me know," he then hands us a card.

"It's a special card, you just press the butting and someone will come to your location ASAP and will let me know of the situation." I gasp. "Enjoy your stay." He bows and walks out of the house. I stood in complete awe, I turn towards Killian and he has the same reaction as me.

"I guess he is more than grateful." I laugh. "Yes He is." That's when we go up to our room and we see many clothes laid out for us so we can go swim. We change and made our way to the water. Even though my shoulder was sore, I enjoyed swimming. We got out and had fun in the sand.

As soon as it started to get dark, the island staff came and built a fire for us. I mean Killian could have started one but they have strict rules here when it comes to fires. We went to the showers to wash out the salt water then sat down on some chairs by the fire.

It was so relaxing and peaceful. Killian extended his hand out and grabbed my hand. "You having fun?" I nod. "I'm having so much fun." We both laid there in silence as we hear the crackling of the fire and the crash of the waves play in our ears. After we got dry Killian and I made our way inside to grab something to eat.

As I was about to make something Killian comes behind me and starts to kiss my neck. "I promised you we would have some time to ourselves." I lift my eyebrow and bit my lip. I haven't slept with anyone, sure I've dated but I've been too scared to do it with anyone.

I turn around and I kiss him. "Let's do it." He nods as he picks me up and takes me to the bedroom. He slowly places me on the bed and starts to kiss me very slowly. He slowly starts to untie my bikini, I was a bit nervous but I knew I was in safe hands.

He starts to kiss me and that's when he starts to slowly pull my one piece bikini off. I grab his hand and sighed. He looks up and gives me a concerned look. "Is everything ok?" I nod. "We don't have to do it." I smile. "I haven't done it before Killian." He raises his eyebrows.

"This is your first time?" I bit my lip and nod. "I've dated before but I've never actually had sex with anyone, I've only said I've had so I wouldn't be made fun of." His face softens. "Oh love that is nothing to be ashamed of." I smile.

"We don't have to do it, if you don't want to." I smile. "But I want to, I want you to be my first." He smiles. "Just trust me, I will take care of you." I smile and nod as he starts to kiss me. "I love you Emma Swan," he softly says as he slowly takes my bikini off. "And I love you Killian Jones, with all my heart."
