Chapter 33

The neurosurgeon comes and checks Killian. He doesn't know how he woke up if he's under. He then decided to take him off of the coma to see if he will wake up. Hours passed and there was no sign of him waking up.

I check his vitals and everything seems normal, why can't he wake up. I sit back down and just stared at Killian. I did not want to lose hope but I am scared that he will never wake up. And the fact that he didn't recognize me when he saw me is making me worried.

What if he doesn't recognize me when he wakes up again? I'm so sad but even if he doesn't recognize me I will make him fall in love with me again. That's when I hear a groan. I turn to him and I see him wake up.

He smiles. "Emma?" My heart soared as I go and kiss him. He smiles then groans. "What are we doing here?" I give him a weird look. "What do you mean?" He then looks around then gives me a confused look. "We are in a hospital, you got shot at trying to protect the ambassador and Robin." He nods.

"Oh." I then give him a quick check up then called the neurosurgeon. He comes and checks him and is in shock. "Let him rest Emma, and don't let anyone see him just yet." I nod as he walks out and I close the sliding door.

"Do you remember what happened?" He shakes his head then tries to reach out towards my belly. "You're not pregnant?" I look down and shake my head. "Did we lose our baby?" My face softened. "Killian, What do you remember?" He smiles.

"I don't remember being shot, all I remember is us living in our home, and we were waiting for our baby to be born." I smile. He then looks at my hand, "oh I guess we aren't married huh?" Im in tears as I shake my head. He doesn't remember anything.

"Killian do you remember anything aside from that?" He shakes his head. "Do you remember Robin, the army, anything?" He shakes his head. "You were shot trying to protect your best friend and the ambassador." He nods. "I was in the army?" I nod.

"When you were asleep how did we meet?" He chuckles. "I don't really know, all I know is that we were married and expecting a child." I smile. "Don't worry in due time you'll remember." He smiles. "But all I know is that I love you so much." I start to cry so much. "And I love you Killian."

That's when I noticed he was getting sleepy. "Rest up my love." He nods as he grabs my hand. "Don't leave me." I nod as he goes back to sleep. That's when Elsa walks in. "Did he wake up?" I let go of his hand and talk to her outside.

"He woke up but he doesn't really remember anything, when he was asleep he dreamt that we were together living our lives." She smiles. "That's what he was thinking of probably when he get shot." I nod. "He will remember, just takes time." She nods.

"At least he's awake." I nod. "Yes." "Well I'll leave you to it, I just wanted to double check on him." I smile and hug her, "thanks." I walk back inside and he's awake. "Emma I'm so sorry, we were supposed to have dinner and I had to go on a mission." I sigh in relief.

"You remember?" He nods. "Everything seems like a jumbled mess but I remember." I smile and ran up to him. He slowly sits up and we kiss. "I'm sorry for scaring you earlier." I smile and nod. "So do you know who exactly was the one that did this?" He sighs. "It wasn't a plot to kill the ambassador." I gave him a weird look.

"It was to kill me." I gasp. "Who did it?" He sighs. "Gold." I scoff. "That bastard is back?" He nods. I get up and he grabs my hand. "We will handle it later love." I smile and nod. "Anyways like I was saying I'm sorry for scaring you." I sigh.

"What were you dreaming about love?" "I was dreaming that our life, well that our dream life was real." I smile. "We can make it real." He gives me a weird look. "What do you mean?"
