So Courfeyrac went home to get his stuff. He yelled at Enjolras because he didn't understood what he needed. He always has to do things himself. There was a soft knock on my door. "Emilia. Here some bread and cheese. And a muffin. You must be hungry", she said, sitting down on my bed.

Then there was another knock. Madame got up and made his way towards Courfeyrac. "Boy, keep it in your pants tonight. Got it?", she asked. He gulped and nodded. His cheeks were red like the jacket Enjolras was wearing tonight. She closed the door behind her and left them alone. "I must thank you."

"For?" "Saving me. In both cases." "Don't worry. I just did what everyone else would've done.", he said, "do you have a mattress in here for me?" "For?" "For me to sleep on.", he asked. "Oh silly, you have been in my bed before. I don't mind sharing.", I said.

"Yes but your mother—" "Madame is not my mother. Just an employer.", I corrected. "Right, I forgot. I'm sorry." "Don't be. Stop apologizing. It's fine.", I said. He smiled. "Why did you faint?", he asked. "I don't know. I guess, I just lost my balance." "That wasn't an answer to my question.", he said. He was serious. Dead serious.

"Aren't you going to eat?" "I'm not hungry." "LIES!", he yelled. "Oh, I understand. Madame must have told you I haven't eaten in the past few days. Well, you're mistaken. I did eat. Quite a lot to be honest.", I said. "Mhm yeah, sure." "Hey, stop that!", I yelled at him. I got up from my bed and walked over to him. Compared to him, I was a dwarf.

He looked down on me with his serious expression. "Stop looking at me like that!", I snapped. His eyes widened in surprise. He touched my arm. "Emilia, I am just very worried about you.", he said. His face showed worry. "Well, you shouldn't be.", I said turning away from him.

"Would you stop snapping at me? Can't you see what is happening? Everyone is worrying about you because you freaking fainted!", he yelled. The fight between us had attracted the attention of Madame Houcheloup. "What is going on up here? Just this morning your smile almost ripped your face in two and now you're yelling at her!", she said.

Courfeyrac looked to the floor. "I am sorry. I shouldn't have done that.", he said. I sighed. "Can I leave you both alone now or do I need to stay here?" "No, Madame you don't need to.", I said. She nodded and closed the door behind her. I could hear her walking down the stairs. "Emilia, I am deeply sorry. I shouldn't have yelled at you." "It's fine, I was an idiot too." "I never said that I was an idiot."

"I know you didn't. But you're my idiot.", I said, wrapping my arms around his neck. His hands wrapped around my waist and pulled me closer. This night was going to end like the last one, that's for sure.
