The plane landed at LAX airport at 4 pm, and I was really excited to be home, to see my parents and, most of all hug and kiss my little Elle.
We grabbed our luggage and suddenly heard an extremely common voice "Hey guys, did we catch the same flight? Sorry, I was in first class ..." Sharon was looking at me and Mike.
"Hey, maybe we were on the same flight, but fortunately we're not going to the same place now." Alice said impatiently and walked off, pulling Will's hand. I preferred not to think about it, all I didn't want right now was a situation that could make Elle jealous of Sharon and worse, I did not want her to think anything could have happened between us.
My mother and father were waiting for us, and as soon as my mother looked at me, she had the most beautiful smile. I walked over and gave her a big hug, pulling her feet off the floor. "Noah, let me out of here, put me down" she said, laughing.
"I really missed you, my queen." I put her down and kissed her head. My mother always did everything for us: to me, to Lee and my dad, and also for the Evans, especially after Joni died ... I also hugged my dad and did the honors by introducing Mike, Will and Alice. Mom was very excited about having guests, she loved receiving people in our house, "That's why I made your dad buy a big, cozy house," she used to say. When we were walking to the van, I asked about Elle.
"She must be home, your brother was with her and Rachel helping her father decorate the house for Halloween. I think some of Brad's friends will sleep there tomorrow and he wanted to give them a very special night." I turned my phone on and saw that about an hour ago she had sent the picture of the house with its final decoration. It was really incredible. I did not answer, I would wait until I met her. We got in the car and drove straight home.
Lee and Rachel were there when we arrived, and as soon as he saw me he shouted, "Hey douchebag, now I understand why you were so mysterious with Elle. She was very sad about your sudden disappearance dude... I told her not to be upset, but you know that little girl ..." Hearing this, my heart sped up, I did not want to make my angel suffer, but all this had a good reason: I wanted surprise her, and I had no other way to do that but to disappear. Lee continued, "Why didn't you tell me?"
"I know you Lee, at the first lost dog look from her, you'd spoil all the surprise ... she thinks I'd just come home for Christmas. But she will understand as soon as she sees me ... by the way, where is she now? Upstairs?" I asked feeling really excited.
"No, she stayed home, said something about being really tired. She said she'd come later, because we still have to help her decide what costume she'll wear at the party tomorrow. "
Once again I made the proper introductions, and they all hugged Lee as if he were part of the family. Mike said he was really wanting to meet my famous little brother, since I always said they were identical, not just looking, but in the way of being, since Mike had the same sense of humor as Lee. We laughed a lot and my mother called for a snack in the dining room. It was all really delicious, as always and I saw that she had also made the pineapple cake, Elle's favorite. "Does she know you made this cake, mom?"
"Elle? Of course! I made two, one we ate yesterday at dinner, she spent the night here, and this one I made for you guys." She spent the night here ...
Mom showed the house to the guests and their rooms. Will and Alice stayed in the large guest room with the double bed, Mike stayed in the pool house. I went into my room and saw my T-shirt carefully folded on my pillow ... of course she had spent the night here in my room. I smelled and the scent of her perfume was still there. I left my bags on the floor and went to the bathroom to take a quick shower.
I could not stay in the shower for long, I was really excited and wanted to get out as fast as possible. I put on a pair of jeans, my favorite white T-shirt and a jacket, I asked my father for the car and went to Elle's house.
Mr. Evans opened the door quietly (he also knew I was coming for the week). After talking a little, Brad saw me and he was about to scream when I took him in my arms and gave him a big hug. "Hey, I'm going to surprise Elle," I said softly to him. He nodded and went into the yard to play with his friends. Mr. Evans told me that Elle was in her bedroom and he thought she was asleep. My heart was skipping a few beats. I went upstairs and gently opened the door.
It felt like I was in heaven, she was there, lying in her bed in a deep sleep. I was frozen, staring at the door, and then walked up to the bed without making any noise. I noticed that she had cried, her eyelashes were a little blurry, yet my favorite panda remained beautiful. I stood almost ten minutes standing, staring at the outline of her eyes, nose and mouth, she was just too perfect. I gently touched her lips, first with my fingers, then leaned over her, unnoticed, and touched her with my lips. She shuddered and opened her eyes. For a moment, I am sure, she thought it was a dream, but I could not stand the urge and intensified the kiss. She hugged my neck, the way she was used to and we kissed for eternity, or something like this.
When we finally stopped she looked at me, not believing that I was actually there. "I thought I was dreaming of you ... actually I think I was, but in my dream I was really mad at you for disappearing all day and still gave me a totally stupid excuse not to call me tonight. Lucky your mother confirmed the story, otherwise things would have gotten worse for you." Her voice was soft now, her eyes were smiling, even though she was still a little resentful.
"I was trying to surprise you Panda" I said, laughing and the mention of the bear made her jump out of bed, crossing the room to her dresser to look in the mirror.
"Noah ... I look awful! How could you do this to me? I cried a lot, that's why I'm almost Andy Panda now ... yes, I know, you wanted to surprise me, but even so, I was crazy to think that you had other plans and with other people ..." I knew what she was saying *other people = other girls*.
"Baby, I would never do that to you, I did not want to make you sad, and please, do not think I'd rather go out with other people than talk to you. You always come first." I got up and went over her. We hugged ... I lifted her in my arms and of course I began to feel something under my pants... the only thing I wanted was to have her now, but we were at her house with Brad and Mr. Evans downstairs... I would have to wait.
After another breathtaking kiss, she said she would take a shower and I decided to wait for her talking to her father. I told her to pack some clothes and stuff because she would spend the week with me at home. She smiled and nodded.
It took her almost an hour to pack up and sort things out, and since she could not miss all week at school, the amount of things she had to take was absurd ... even we living ten minutes apart. "You do not have to bring all your books and uniforms, we can come by and pick them up," I said.
"I know, I'm not taking everything ..." she smiled and turned red "You know me, I like to have options to dress" I smiled and did not care to carry so much ... having her by my side would be the best gift.
"I really want to introduce Mike, Will and Alice to you, they came with me" she opened a beautiful smile
"Great, I'll finally meet the famous Noah's friends from Harvard" and gave me a quick kiss
By the time we were going home, I looked at my very well-kept bike in the Evans garage. "We'll definitely go to our favorite place next week ... I miss my other baby. But now I'm glad my dad loaned me the car or his things would have to be tied back and in his head. "
