People were silent, trying to understand what was about to happen, we heard the introduction of a song known by everyone "Let's stay together - Al Green" and that voice, the voice of someone I knew better than anyone in the world: Elle ... she was singing ... the beautiful woman on stage was looking directly into my eyes, those perfect blue eyes staring at me and smiling... singing to me. I was speechless, no reaction at all... I could only smile and my eyes were stuck in her eyes... for a moment I looked at my mother, she was crying, I hugged her, Alice came behind us and said "I hope you are enjoying this little surprise" I hugged her too, and finally Lee "You deserve it... and she deserves to be happy with you too, congratulations bro"

She looked like an angel, when she finished the song, she asked me, in the sweetest way, to be her boyfriend ... The spotlight was directed at me and everyone was now staring at me. She stepped off the stage and walked towards me, the same way I did at the spring ball the year before, but she looked like a model walking on a catwalk with that wonderful black dress, I could not wait to get her to me, I was almost running to meet her and put an end to that desire to hold her in my arms for eternity, but I had to control myself... we had a huge audience. Then she was in front of me and I looked into her eyes. I heard her sweet voice "So... do you have an answer for me, Mr. Noah Flynn?" I did not answer, I simply wrapped my arms around her waist, and I kissed her like I had never kissed before, in a mixture of longing, love and happiness. Many claps started around us.

Kissing Elle again was the most incredible thing in the universe... When the party was over, few people stayed on the dance floor, Elle and I, Will and Alice, and a few other students. All our families were gone.
