A normal week - Noah

The week was busy... I enjoyed studying while Elle was in school and during the afternoons, we  went to the main sights of Los Angeles. On Thursday we went to the Hollywood sign, and of course I remembered one of our first nights together. Elle was smiling at me and I could not resist to comment "This L reminds me of some sexy moments" she blushed at the same minute.

"Oh my God, Noah..." she was red, but laughing "Please stop ... Lee and the others will hear us. I did not tell Lee everything, I never detailed where we used to go to make out when we were hiding..." She was incredibly sexy when she was shy, I kissed her.

We got out there and went to Rodeo Drive, to a bar, and as we walked in, we saw the school boys, together with Tuppen and Sharon. I already felt a little uncomfortable, but did not say anything.

We just waved at them and sat at a table in the back of the bar. Sharon came to our table.

"So, how are you?" She sounded a little drunk.

"All right, girl, what have you been up to in the last few days? We have not seen you since the party on Saturday night" Mike replied and smiled.

"Oh, I was trying to focus on my studies, we have several exams next month ..." but her voice did not convince us of all that dedication. I stopped paying attention to what she was talking to Mike and focused on what we were going to eat ... I realized that Elle was feeling uncomfortable with Sharon's presence there ... Of course, after what she said at that stupid party, but I was not going to pop up the subject because I did not even tell Elle what she had told me when I left the party, anyway I needed to try to focus in something else.

"So what do you want my lady?" I looked at her and smiled.

The waitress brought the menu and we ordered french fries and drinks. Alice and Will were the perfect couple, and they decided to sing in karaoke. A duet, "Cruisin," and Alice's performance as Gwyneth Paltrow was spectacular. Everything was really perfect, until I went to the bathroom ...

On my way back to the table, Sharon stopped me. "Hey, handsome, still not talking to me?" Now I was sure she was drunk.

"Please don't start with these stupid questions and do not try to make a scene here, I have nothing to talk to you about." I was going to walk out and she took my arm

"Seriously? Ok ... we're going to talk in Boston ... I'm can assure you we will" she let me go and left, I did not look back and went back to our table.

"What did she want with you?" the question was cold and unexpected and I decided to say it was nothing, only that she had asked something about the classes.

"But she held your arm ... and I could not understand why she needed hold you..." Elle was not convinced of what I told her and I was a little bothered to keep the harmless lie ... but I did not want to say what Sharon was really trying, for a few months now, or Elle could be jealous for no reason, since I was not giving the crazy girl any hope.

"Hey, I'm saying it was nothing, she just took my arm to balance ... she drank a lot, nothing more." I kissed her and Will called me to play pool.

Tuppen doubled up with Mike and me with Will. Of course we won, if there was one thing I did as well as playing football was playing pool. I loved having Tuppen turn red with anger over his loss to me once again.

Elle was having fun with Alice, Rachel and Lee in the karaoke, and Sharon was nowhere to be found, which made me much more relieved.

We went home and the sun was rising, and went up to my room without making any noise.

"Shelly, it's our last night or rather ..." I laughed and she was looking into my eyes "our last morning together ... and I already miss you my lil love..." I kissed her and we did not leave my room all day, although it was Friday, she and Lee had no class.

My flight was scheduled for Saturday morning, so I had to drop her off after dinner.

"I'm not going to cry, I swear ..." she said with that beautiful sad puppy's eyes glowing, and I saw a few tears appearing, but she did not let any fall. "Have a nice flight ... and call when you arrive, please"

"Do not worry, Shelly, I'll call you. Good night, if you can sleep without me" I laughed and she smiled. "I love you and I'm counting days to see you on Thanksgiving." I kissed her, I did not want to let her go ... after almost half an hour she got out of the car. I stared at her going inside her house and my heart was empty for a moment ... it was me who would not sleep well... I was already missing her.
