I opened my eyes but was still very sleepy, Noah was still sleeping with one arm above me. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom ... the day was cold outside and I was starving. Instead of taking a shower, I brushed my teeth and decided to go downstairs to get us breakfast. (Yes, I know I could ask for room service, but I wanted to do something special for him)
I arrived in the lobby and Joe was there, he saw me and smiled. I waved and was going to the cafeteria, he came to talk to me
"Good morning, Elle, you're up early ..."
"Good morning ... yes, I just woke up and decided to take Noah's breakfast to our room. And you, I do not remember seeing you with the boys when we got back to the hotel yesterday." I was trying to be friendly
"Yes, I stayed with Sharon's friend..." he replied and smiled a little
"Oh, right ... sorry, I was not wanting to snoop..." I apologized and he laughed
"Don't worry Elle, I don't care, I kind of like the fact that you're interested in knowing where I was" he gave a sgy smile
I think he got it wrong and I got a little annoyed ... the last thing I wanted was him thinking I was worried, not as a friend ...
"I have to go, Noah must have already woken up ..." I finished the awkward conversation
"He does not deserve a girl like you." his voice was frozend and his eyes were strange when he said this
For a moment I thought I did not get it right, but he had a bad face. "Hey, you don't know him, how can you say that? Please stop fooling yourself about me, and don't say stupid things about him, ok?"
"Sorry, but that's what I think, and maybe one day you'll realize that. I have to go too, I'll see you around "
I felt my face on fire... I was really angry at him *How could he? He does not know Noah ... stupid boy!* I went into the cafeteria, picked up some things and went up to our room.
Luckily Noah was still sleeping and I would not have to tell the little talk I had with Joe... I would have had enough time to calm myself down.
I set the table and went to bed to wake him up. I kissed him softly and he hugged me, intensifying the kiss. When we stopped, he looked into my eyes, his beautiful eyes staring mine "Good morning princess, happy new year ... to us!"
"Hello sleeping handsome... happy new year, I have a surprise for you." I pulled out his hand, he put on his underwear and looked at the table.
"Shelly, did you make us breakfast?" His eyes were shining
"Well ... I tried ... I did my best to get everything you like, I went to the hotel restaurant instead of asking for room service ... let's eat? I'm starving" I smiled, he kissed me quickly
"Of course ma'am ..."
We ate and we talked at the table, he was telling me that we had to leave the hotel until noon, and his flight back to Boston would be three days from now, on January 4th. He asked me to make plans for the next two days.
"Well, we can stay in your room locked, what do you think?" I was playing sexy
"Hey, don't play with me like this ... I'd love to, but I think Lee would be a bit depressed without you," he was teasing me too, unfortunately he was right..
"Okay, I'll think of something ... but now we have to pack and go home!"
Lee and Rachel were waiting for us in the hall, talking to Tuppen and Warren.
"So ... time to get back to real life?" Lee asked me
"If you say so... I'll be in my dream life for at least another two and a half days, since Noah will only be back in Boston on the 4th." I laughed and he gave me a wink.
