One last goodbye - Elle

I almost didn't believe my eyes when I woke up and saw that it had not been a dream... he was here, my heart soared with happiness and I could feel the best feeling in the world again: wake up in Noah's arms. How I was missing all this. His arms were around me and when I looked at his face he was already awake, smiling at me.

"Good morning... I couldn't let go of you... I needed to keep feeling you in my arms. Thanks for everything, Shelly, you were wonderful... and from now on, Let's Stay Together will be our official song, you were so perfect there singing to me... I'm going to see with Alice if the DJ had  recorded your performace... I have to show this to our children one day." He gave me a soft kiss and I smiled.

I was really happy, my surprise was worth it, we were together again and I was feeling so peaceful, also because I could spit what I wanted to that bitch Sharon.

"I think you should know by now that I got the points I needed on SAT... now I'm just waiting for my envelope to arrive."

"Mr. Phillip was very impressed with you, Elle, he also saw some videos of you playing soccer," I looked at him a little shocked

"Did he see? How did he see?" I was intrigued

"Well ... the director of Country Day LA sent him some material... I think someone might have given him the information that all your official games were recorded ..." he was smiling

"Oh, you're lovely ... even though you were angry at me, you tried to help"

"I was not mad at you, I was pissed at the whole situation... but that's past now. We knew we were going to face some problems, maybe smaller ones, but now I think we're stronger" I kept smiling at him, who amended "And speaking on being together, next week we will have our first anniversary, since it will be an year of the dance in which I asked you to be my lady." I completely forgot about it... an year dating the man of my dreams ... with some mishaps, but with a positive balance in the end.

"Yeah ... an year, and we will not be able to celebrate properly, I'm going home tonight and your finals start tomorrow ... oh ... by the way, you have to study, don't you?" Alice mentioned that you should keep studying all day today"

"No ... my first final is just tomorrow afternoon, I can finish studying after I drop you off at the airport. Now I just need to enjoy this day with my perfect singer lady"

He kissed me and we forgot the world.

More than four hours later, my phone bipped, my dad wanted to know if everything had gone well, I said we were fine and he sent me an emoticon. My father was discovering the beautiful life of texting instead of calling people. Noah thought it was funny

"So now Mr. Evans is being the coolest father of all time... is he mad at me?"

"Of course not ... I had to tell him everything and he understood your point..."

"Ok ... I hate to interrupt this moment, but we have to hurry up Shelly, it's time to get back to reality"

"Yes ... I have to pack my things ... my dress is on the floor, I might look like a Panda now... what a mess!" I was laughing

"Oh, beautiful Andy Panda ... it's 4:30pm and your flight is at 8:00pm, we have to start packing, baby."

I got up and kept all my things. We took a quick shower and went to Alice's house. Everyone was just waiting for us and Alice was the first to congratulate us.

"Finally love birds, I thought you'd lose track of time ... I was going to send you a message, Elle, we have to hurry to the airport."

"I know ... Noah was too lazy and did not want to get up ... so he did not leave me either," I laughed and she understood "but here we are."

We arrived at Logan airport at 6:30pm and started the "goodbye" session. Alice was the first to hug me. "My little sister, I'm very happy for you both. I'll see you in a few weeks, we're going to your prom. "

"Really? I can't believe you're coming, I'm so glad you finally accepted my invitation... I'm just sad that you will not be able to come ofr our birthday party"

"We would love to, but Will's mother has her birthday in the same day as you and Lee ...maybe next year we can put the celebrations together?" She smiled and gave me a hug "We are a family now, have a nice flight Elle "

I hugged Will, May and Daniel, thanked them for everything. Then I turned to Noah who was with that sad puppy face.

"Hey baby, don't look at me like that, it's just a few weeks now, I'm going to call you when we land in Los Angeles. You have to study and I'll be thinking about you okay?" I hugged him and he kissed me

"I love you... Have a nice flight... see you soon," he hugged me again and I walked through the boarding gate, looking at him and smiling. A completely different feeling from the last time I left Boston. Our final goodbye.

The plane left and my heart was much happier than I had imagined. Now I was just worried about the arrival of my envelope and I would be the happiest girl in the whole world.
