The hotel was wonderful! I always walked in front of this hotel, every time we went to Disneyland, but I had never been inside the Hyatt.

Noah and Lee got the best rooms for us, the rooftop rooms. "And we said we would not spend a lot of money, right?" I told Noah and he smiled at me.

"You deserve my princess, it's our first New Year as a couple, and I wanted it to be more than perfect," he kissed me

We had plans to have dinner with Lee and Rachel, so we took a quick shower and went downstairs to meet them and, arriving in the lobby, we had an unpleasant surprise. Sharon and a few other people were checking in at the front desk. Noah's arm was stiff around my waist and I felt my eyes burn. I could not believe that with so many places in the world she was in the same hotel as us ... what a pleasant surprise *NOT*.

Noah looked at me trying to act normally. "Let's wait Lee and Rachel at the bar, we can have a drink." I just nodded.

But unfortunately, to get to the bar we had to pass by the reception, and of course ... the evil bitch had to stop us. "Hello you two, how long my dear ones, I didn't had a clue you were here, what a coincidence"

"Well ... yes, we are here." Noah was polite but his voice was extremely cold

"My cousin is coming with some friends too, he must be coming by now. Are you two going to be at the pool party before the fireworks in the park tomorrow?" She was very indiscreet and I wanted to punch her teeth

"Yes, we are going." I answered even more coldly than Noah "Sorry, we have to go" I finished her questioning and pulled Noah's arm

"I cannot believe this ... I really can't!" I said frustrated

"And now we know that Tuppen and a few others will be here too ... my stomach hurts just thinking about who the others should be," he said and my stomach hurt too... I had a good idea about whom might be 

"Let's just forget about that, okay? We have our perfect suite and each other ..." I smiled trying to pretend I was not worried about those people and he kissed me.

"Yes, I know ... let's have a drink?" We went to the bar and waited for Lee and Rachel.

They arrived ten minutes later and decided to stay on the porch that had a fantastic view.

"Hey, I just found Tuppen, Warren, Cam, Dixon and" he paused, shook off and dropped the bomb "Joe at check-in, they'll all be spending New Year's Eve at Disneyland, just like us... incredible" but he obviously was not excited about it, and now I was even more annoyed... Joe was at the hotel too... I just wanted a normal holiday with my boyfriend

"We just met Sharon and a few other girls with her, she mentioned that Tuppen would come with some friends and I was already sure whom they might be." The mark on Noah's forehead was appearing and his eyes were darker than normal, but he pretended to be calm... of course Lee and I knew him very well to realize that he was faking a calm that did not exist, but we decided to say nothing.

We went to our table and dinner was perfect, Rachel and Lee looked so much better with each other and I was very happy that things were good again between them ... and I hoped they would stay like this... I was sick of misunderstandings .

After dinner, we went to a dance club near the hotel, it was a special 80's night, and since Lee and I loved this type of event, we did not resist and we enjoyed dancing a lot.

The place was packed, lots of young faces with lots of makeup (like in the 80's) and rainbow clothes

"We did not know it was a costume party... I have such casual clothes..." Lee said and smiled at us.

"I don't care, I just need to dance with my boyfriend." Rachel replied and kissed him, Noah and I laughed at them.

We went to the bar to get some more drinks and headed straight for the dance floor. I'd almost forgotten how good it was to dance with my friends, especially with Lee ... the last few months were so crazy ... the last time I danced like that was in San Diego, but I was not even close to the feeling I was having at that particular moment, with Lee and, of course, Noah.

He grabbed my waist when a slow song started, I put my hands on his neck, playing with his hair and he kissed me. Lee and Rachel were dancing next to us and Lee started teasing us. "If someone asked me, when we were kids, I don't think I would have ever figured that you two would be so good together... hey... stop kissing when I am talking" he was laughing and we stopped and looked at him, smiling, he continued "Well, now we have a conversation ... so ... I have to say that I am very happy for you and I cannot imagine anyone better for each other, than the two of you... I'm drunk and I'll probably forget everything tomorrow." He smiled and we gave him and Rachel a family hug.

"I'm glad you feel this way, Lee. I promise I'll keep making Shelly the happiest girl in the Universe," Noah said during our hug. I was a little dizzy with some drinks too and I was very emotional... my eyes filled with tears... I was really happy.

The night was really great until the school guys and Sharon showed up at the club. Noah's hands on my waist became frozen and I tensed, but still I tried to act normally... a little drunk that's true, but I was really hoping they would not come to us.

"Hey Lee, did you leave us some beers?" Joe joked with Lee and Noah had that look ...

"Of course, stupid, there's something left for you." Lee replied smiling "I didn't know you were thinking on coming to Disney for the New Year"

"I was not, but since my father is going to keep working throughout the holiday, and my sister is with my aunt in Miami, I didn't want to be alone, so when Sharon and Tuppen invited me, I could not resist the offer." he said smiling and I got a little confused

"Sharon? You know her? I mean, yes, she's Tuppen's cousin, but you were not here on Halloween ... "

"I met her last week, after Christmas ... and well ... we had fun together ... so you can imagine, I could not resist her asking me to come" Joe was a little excited

"Oh... right... well, let's have some fun!" Lee finished and looked at me and Noah, we smiled.

Joe and Sharon having fun long after Christmas ... that sounded very strange, but I did not feel like thinking about it, and also didn't want any details.

At the end of the night, everyone was dancing together and having fun, I went to the bathroom and when I left, Sharon was at the door.

"Hey Shelly, you look beautiful"

I felt so irritated "Hello, and my name is Elle ... can I pass?"

"But why such a hurry? Noah is not going anywhere... or maybe you're a little afraid of leaving him alone with the boys... especially Joe" she loosed all her venom

"Sorry, I don't know what you're talking about, Sharon, and please don't make me be rude to you. Of course you don't like me and the reciprocal is true... let's make things easier and pretend we don't even know each other, ok?" My blood was boiling ...

"Ah... brave Shelly... but I'm not sorry... I know everything about you and Joe. You're not a saint, and don't worry, Noah will be back in Boston in a week, and of course, I can always have a great conversation with him "

"Well, darling, try your best... I'm not going to stop you!" I pushed her and went back to the dance floor.

"What's going on, baby, are you tired?" Noah was looking and smiling

"Yes... can we go back to the hotel?" I was really annoyed after that stupid talk with Sharon, but I was not going to tell Noah about it.

"Of course... I have an idea to keep you awake," he gave me that sexy look and my frustration disappeared.

We said goodbye, and to my utter surprise, Noah said we would meet them to go to the park the next day.

"I really had fun with them ... I think I'm growing Shelly," he teased me and I smiled back at him.

I understood his idea to keep me awake, with a bubble bath and lots of fun. The last time I looked at the clock was 3 in the morning and his arms were around me making me sleep.
