Dear Diary,
Today when I was walking Pom in the park, I saw Cooper Dean sitting by himself. It's kinda odd to see him by himself since he's the type of boy that has countless friends and an aura that makes people gravitate to him effortlessly. Hell, even Pom gravitates towards him and she's a dog.
I was going to walk past him, thinking he was waiting for his girlfriend or someone else, but then he looked kind of sad and dejected, as if he was lost or someone had left him waiting there for God knows how long. So I sat down next to him.
We chatted for a bit, and he seemed to cheer up before my mom called me and asked me to pick up some dry cleaning. I said bye and he deflated a little, sure, but he was okay. I think.
Anyway, senior year starts tomorrow and I'm thinking of applying to the University of Indiana. My dad lives in Indiana, so I could use it as an excuse to see him regularly. I don't think I'll tell my mom though, because she'd definitely intervene and find a way for the application not to get through.
My sister wants me to try one of her cakes now, so I've got to go.
