Chapter 13: Aramerian Amulet

Chapter 13.

Violets POV

I woke up and stretched. I looked around and saw Cleo was still asleep. Typical. I smiled and threw my pillow at her. "Wake up Cleo".

Cleo sat up strait. "who? What? I'm awake don't shoot!!!" She looked around, saw me, and threw the pillow back. "Wheres your little boyfriend"?

I tossed my pillow back to her playfully. "Ronan's NOT my boyfriend Cleo" I said. "And he's right there..." I looked to where Ronan had fallen asleep. he wasn't there.

I immediately began to panic. Where could he be?!?1 What if that Tessamonet monster lady came by while we were asleep and got him?!?1 Oh I'd never forgive myself . I have to find him!!!!

Cleo threw my pillow back at me and laughed. "I can read thoughts too remember Violet." She said to me. I tossed the pillow back and sighed. "Besides, there are some weird swirls in the mud over by Ronan's pack."

I got closer. It was a note. I sighed in relief.

Cleo and Vi..

I was looking at some of the scrolls I got from the Library and the wind blew one away. Ran after it. be back soon. -Ronan.

I started to panic again. "Cleo he could have written this when ever! We gotta go look for him"!

"Go look for who"?

I turned around to see Ronan holding a scroll. "RONAN"!!! I ran and threw my arms around him. He chuckled in surprise and hugged me back.

"Somone's happy to see me". He exclaimed.

"You had me worried sick, I thought I'd lost you oh my gosh If you scare me..." It was then I'd realized how I sounded. I released him and cleared my throat. "I mean if you scare both of us like that again yeah both of us I don't maybe like you what are you talking about HAHAHA let's read the scrolls" I said in a panicked voice.

Ronan smiled. He hands me a scroll and we started to read.

"It's a Greek riddle. It's says where to find the first gem in the amulet"! I exclaimed.

"Thats what I don't get". Said a perplexed Ronan. "Isn't an amulet one jewel in a necklace frame and a chain for the neck"?

Cleo smiled. "Yeah thats what an Amulet is. But this amulet is special"!

Cleo's POV

Ronan raised an eyebrow. "How so "?

"Well the jewels we need to get for the jewels are the 3 most powerful jewels in all of Paranormal Greece. The Aramerian sapphire, aramerian ruby, and the aramerian emerald combined create the Amulet of Aramere". I said.

"Long ago the first paranormal grecian tribes each had an enchanted gem to suply their life well, ghost life that is. The king of all the tribes required that the 3 enchanted gems be brought together every 5 years so that death can be replenished in Paranormal Greece" explained Violet.

Ronan looked wide eyed at us. "Replinish DEATH"?

"Well not exactly death, but if you lived in Paranormal Greece then you would understand".

I looked at Ronan and burst into laughter. "Your expression" I giggled.

Ronan glared at me. "Keep reading Violet. I want to learn as much about this Amulet of Aramere as I can".

Violet finished reading the scroll. "The 3rd king decided to call the gathering of the enchanted gems, he combinded them and took over the land for a year thus causing a few wars. The queen at the time realized that she had to destroy the amulet because it was controling him".

"Kind of you and your mom, the way she controlled you" asked Ronan softly.

Violet stopped short. "Y-yeah like me and my mom. Anyways,The unlimited power was to much for the king so the queen destroyed the amulet by throwing it a wall and seperating the 3 enchanted gems. She threw them far away in different directions. The saphire in the Forests of the smalltown αρτοποιείο*, the emerald in the Aramerian town of γυαλιστερό*, and the ruby is hidden deep in the τέρας* kingdom."

Wait a second the τέρας* kingdom...isnt that where Tessamonet came from?" aked Ronan.

We all looked at eachother. "Ohhhh boy".

I shook it aside. "We can worry about that later...the forests of the town αρτοποιείο is where we are now"!

Violet grinned. "Your right αρτοποιείο isbakery in englsihs...". "We' are close to the first jewel"!!!

Violet squealed in delight.

"That means we're closer to getting your life redemed" exclaimed Ronan.

"YES"!!!!! she reached up and gave Ronan a hug. He smiled and hugged her back. Then she came over and hugged me.

I smiled and hugged back. "Vi...I may be half ghost but I still need to breathe...your crushing me..."

Violet let go "Sorry"!

I grinned. "Let's go find that jewel"1 We packed up our stuff, still in the spirit then we heard this monstrous growl.

We spun around in shock and found we were being stared down by a huge Paranormal Greecian bear.

We all gasped.

I almsot fainted. "Ohhhh fudge".
