chapter 23

Jess pov.

I was sitting in my cell on the wall. I was currently throwing a ball around my cell over and over again. There was some weird guy singing about rainbows and grass. "Jessica there is someone here to see you." The guard said opening my cell eyeballing me. I sat down on a stool on the other side of the glass to talk to who was here to speak with me. A figure looks up and I instantly recognise those glowing white eyes. "Uncle"," Jess". He makes a portal and pulls me through it. When we exit the portal we are at my uncles throne. He sits down on it while I stand. A moment later jason walks in."Jess?" I nod. He walks over to me and we both turn our attention to my uncle. "Jess, Jason I need you to find that command block and bring it to me. You are dismissed. Oh jess come here for a moment." "Look jess, your the only remaining family that I like, I need you to be more careful next time, your like the daughter I've always wanted." I give him a nod and run to catch up to Jason. "This time could we make sure the rope won't snap. Jail is the most boring place ever." He laughed at what I said."Sure" we ran off to find the new location of the command block.

Jesse pov.

I feel bad. I let the police take jess, and she's my little sister im suppose to protect her. "Ooof- what the? Oh sorry petra I wasn't watching where I was going." I say helping her up as she takes my hand."It's ok jesse, but you ok? It looked like you where deep in thought." I nod to her. She studies my face before saying. "Is it about jess?" I look down and she rubs my back. "Its ok to be sad....come on I want to show you something." She pulls me so im in front of her and covers my eyes, she leads me somewhere. "Petra where are we going?" She takes her hand off my eyes. We are on a cliff that looks down on Beacontown and out to the sunset. I hear a noise next to me. I look over to see petra laying down on the grass looking up. I join her. We look up at the sky in silence for a while, then I break it." So...back when the witherstorm happened, how did it feel when you had amnesia?" She turned to look at me."well I dont know, I couldnt remember anything. It was weird all my memories came rushing to me afterwards." She sits up and looks to the town." You and jess do an amazing job running the town. Sometimes I wish I had a sibling to talk to or make jokes with." She turns her head away from me. "I thought you had an older brother?" She sighs.   
"I do we just dont see each other often, he lives in sky city." It starts to get windy. I see petra shiver so I put my jacket around her. She leans against my chest and I rap my arms around her. She kisses my cheek before nodding off to sleep.

Aiden pov.

I miss jess. I know she didnt mean to stab me. If she really wanted me dead she would have finished me off. I sent jaiden to stay with olivia for a while till everythings normal again. After jesse told us how jess tried to steal the command block he has kept it hidden where no one knows. I think he put it under his mattress.

Jess pov.

Instead of me just going down alone we both are going down instead.
When we reach the bottom we quickly untie ourselves. We agree to meet back at this spot in 15 minutes and communcate through our walkie-talkies. We split up, I go left and he goes right, one is trapped and I hope its not mine. I was walking for about 5 minutes when my walkie talkie made a noise. "Jess head back, its not here." I replied with an okay then turned around to head back. As i start to walk I dont see any of my familiar surroundings. I try to radio jason but it all just sounds like static. Then all of a sudden to walls start to close in slowly. I start to run towards the end of the hallway when I hear a trap go off on my right and arrows shoot off in front of me. I quickly slide under them and get to the other side. As I approached it I realised that I cant get out. I press my back up against the wall and I hear a click. "Uh oh" I scream as I get blasted miles into the air away from the building. My eyes dilated extremely small when I started falling out of the air. As I get close to the ground I close my eyes expecting to hit the hard ground but instead I splash into deep, cold water. I swim to the top and imbrace my surroundings. Im in the middle of a lake at night. I sigh and roll my eyes and start swimming in the direction I came from.

I hope you guys like it. I had promised to write as sone as I was done with studying for my spanish exam, which I got a 95% on😀, but im also going to make a clean version of this story. Ive just been having alot on my mind. So sorry if you didnt like it. PM me if you have questions, request or need advice. ✌
