Frisk and Asriel went straight to the lump on the way home, which wasn't far from the school. Asriel did know the snow was melting, as he saw a tuft of black wool in the snow.

"Frisk, you still have that bucket do you?" asked Asriel. (A/N: Don't ask how Frisk got a bucket in her backpack. I know it breaks physics!)

"Yes, lemme pull it out," replied Frisk as she pulled the bucket out.

"Fill it up with water. A human is definitely under here!" exclaimed Asriel. Frisk soon filled the bucket of warm water near the top. Frisk ran back to the lump, and poured it all over the lump. A person would emerge from the lump. The person attempted to get up, but fell over almost instantly. This caused a sudden instinct for Asriel as he caught the person in his arms. He tried to prop him up, but that didn't work either. Asriel was forced to carry him over his shoulder.

"You ok?" asked Asriel.

"I'm fine, thanks, I've could've died if you didn't do anything," replied the person.

"Anytime man, who are you anyway?" questioned Asriel.

"I'm Develyn Dagon, and you?" replied Develyn.

"I'm Asriel Dreemurr, and this is my sister Frisk," Asriel answered. That name soon brought shock to Develyn.

"So is it true? You've indeed been reborn?" questioned Develyn, "and I'm sure this isn't a dream?"

"This is reality," answered Asriel.

"Let's get home, don't want to keep mom waiting," said Frisk as Asriel was a couple steps behind, dragging Develyn.

"Can you walk on your own dude?" Asriel asked.

"I'm acting like a complete klutz right now. Deal with my weight for a while," Develyn answered.

"As you wish. Are you frostbitten?" Asriel asked.

"I was in there for a long time. I'm surprised I don't have hypothermia. It got pretty warm in there after a while," Develyn answered.

"We gotta get mom to check you out, where are you frostbitten at?" Asriel asked.

"Whole body, everything is soaked," Develyn answered.

"Develyn, why did you leave your home?" Frisk asked.

"I had enough of being abused, so I ran away. I'm guessing the police have identified me as a Runaway Juvenile by now," Develyn answered

"Wait... Abused? What was going on over there?" Asriel asked.

"My uncle abused me just for fun," Develyn explained.

"Oh my gosh, that's awful," Asriel stated.

"Day in and day out for seven years," Develyn stated. Develyn hallucinated out of nowhere, making his thoughts completely blank.

"Dev? Are you alright?" Asriel asked. Develyn gave out no response. "Frisk! I think something is up with Develyn. He's zoning out."

"That's the person, but don't hurt the real person, it might kill them instead of the other", said a voice inside Develyn's head. Develyn's shifting body weight, which is slightly heavier than Asriel's, made Asriel start losing his balance.

"Frisk!" Asriel yelled.

"I got him. Good grief he's heavy," Frisk answered.

"I thought with the abuse he went through, he must've been malnourished. But no, he's normal," Asriel added. Develyn soon regained, he let out an awfully long groan.

"So Frisk. I've heard you have a person inside your head. Is that true?" Develyn asked, slowly regaining his vision.

"Why are you trying to blow my cover? The only person who knows about this is Sans, did he tell this to you?" questioned Frisk.

"Listen, I had a dream that a specific person can completely take control of your mind. Sans never told me. I just wanna know if it's true or not," explained Develyn.

"Yes, I'm afraid I do. Is there anything wrong with it?" answered Frisk.

"That's why I escaped, some evil personality is going to take over an innocent human, and might wipe out all life on this planet, or it's what I'm receiving from my dreams," Develyn explained.

"That's kind of awful if you think about it. Don't know why though. How long have you having these nightmares?" Asriel asked.

"Three months. I always hope that they stop, but they don't it's never ending," answered Develyn. Just then Asriel's phone started going off.

"Just a second, you two keep talking to each other," said Asriel. Asriel then let go of Develyn. That was a silly mistake, as Develyn's numbness in his legs made him fall over, taking Frisk with him. "Oh shoot," Asriel exclaimed. He helped Frisk, Frisk helped Develyn up.

"I wonder whose bright idea that was?" Develyn asked sarcastically.

"Sorry," Asriel answered.

"Dev, any idea why you zoned out?" Frisk asked.

"Me zoning out was a hallucination," Develyn answered.

"Mom was wondering of we were on our way and we were, she was checking in on us," said Asriel as soon as he got off the phone, "What about the hallucinations?"

"I experience them when something bad is gonna happen. I probably had something bad happen that is gonna take place," Develyn explained.

"That's never a good sign," Asriel reacted.

"Never," Frisk added.

"We're not too far anyway, just a several steps," said Asriel. Then Develyn hallucinated again. The pain started affecting his brain, he saw people getting killed by Chara.

"It's happening again, he's zoning out again," Frisk stated. Frisk can tell since Develyn was acting all stiff, bearing down even more weight on them.

"Two people whose lives are in mortal danger, just by the people who are in their minds, a battle they will soon lose," said the voice.

"Asriel! We need to do something, this is getting worse, we need to be home quick!" yelled Frisk.

"He feels really heavy though, how?" Asriel asked.

"You're more stronger, help him around," Frisk answered. Asriel was forced to drag Develyn simply because of how stiff he still was. It wouldn't be long until Develyn passed out.

"Perfect, you have fallen asleep. I figured these hallucinations will affect you one way or another," said the voice.

"He's out," Asriel muttered.

"We're almost there anyway, we'll make him feel at home. Don't know when he'll wake up though," said Frisk.

"Yeah, I guess so. I guess he was right about these hallucinations. They're bad one way or another," said Asriel as an iconic smell reaches his nose,"I always figured mom would make butterscotch pie for dessert."

"Let's get inside, I'm freezing," said Frisk.

Frisk soon opened the door, and felt the warmth.
