Rewritten

"I wanna go to bed already, put this miserable day behind us," Develyn stated.

"Yeah, I guess, so," Asriel noted.

The three soon entered the house and Alphys was present once more.

"I am a bit concerned, Toriel. You've put on a little bit of weight," Alphys noted.

"That's not all. I've been getting up at five in the morning throwing up, then removing the vines off of Asriel," Toriel stated.

"I'm not doing this to anger you. But I think you might be pregnant. By any chance did you and Asgore visit after we were brought here by Frisk?" Alphys asked.

"Yeah, we did visit, had a little talk about Asriel's child support, and might've done something extra," Toriel answered.

"Can you guys stop before we ask a ton of questions?" Develyn asked.

"Oh goodness, I didn't even hear you three go through the door," Toriel answered.

"And before you ask, it was awful today," Asriel added.

"I'm sorry," Toriel apologized.

"Alphys, do you have any idea why you're here?" Develyn asked.

"Well, apparently there is something in your telekinetic arsenal that can prove to effective in the battle ahead," Alphys stated.

"What is it?" Develyn asked.

"It's called the Separation Curse. It's most effective on people with inner demons they can't control. Frisk and Asriel are a great example. It separates their forms, splitting Chara from Frisk and Flowey from Asriel," Alphys explained.

"That's crazy to believe. I told Dev earlier today if he fights Flowey and Chara and he ends up successful, we'll die with them," Asriel stated.

"Well, if he has this in his arsenal, you guys won't truly be gone," Alphys stated.

"I don't wanna lose you guys. This is the closest I've been in a family in a long time," Develyn added.

"Yeah, you've been abused, from our knowledge," Asriel added.

"Not just that, my biological parents are dead. My paternal grandfather is in hiding. My biological brother isn't around either. My maternal grandparents, on the other hand. They haven't seen me in months," Develyn stated.

"That's really awful to hear," Toriel added.

"Well, maybe you won't truly lose it," Alphys stated.

"Oh, and Develyn. Sans left a voicemail behind. He said once Chara and Flowey return, he's giving you full permission to fight them both," Toriel explained.

"Finally, he made up his mind," Develyn muttered.

"Well, I gotta get going," Alphys stated.

"Alright, see you Alphys," Asriel added.

Develyn soon went outside and realized that he can change multiple lives in one with his Separation spell, which resides in his telekinetic arsenal. He doesn't wanna lose both Asriel and Frisk, he also doesn't wanna lose the trust of a ton of Monsters. But if it's the path that he has to take, he has to take it.

"Divines... Guide me," Develyn muttered quietly.
