Soon enough, Develyn's upper arm had a bandage on it.

"There we go," Toriel stated.

"Thanks," Develyn responded.

"You're welcome," Toriel added.

"No crying, or anything?" Asriel asked.

"Look, if you've been abused by a relative, your neurons build a tolerance to it and you won't feel as much pain as before. Like they always say, it builds character," Develyn replied.

"Well, I'm headed outside," Asriel stated. Frisk followed right after. Develyn had a minor hallucination after. He stood still for a few seconds.

"Are you OK, my child?" Toriel asked.

"Yeah, I'm OK," Develyn answered.

"This can't be good, keep your ears peeled," said the voice inside Develyn's head.

Develyn went upstairs into his room and looked at the mirror. The idea of being different than any other human feels weird to him. He always thought he was special. After all, his maternal grandparents noted that when they noticed something was different. He can't fully remember what his maternal grandfather, Robert, explained, but he remembered one word: Dragonborn.

"Is this who I am?" Develyn asked to himself. "Am I a person who is different from all other sentient beings on Nirn?" Develyn soon had another hallucination. The mirror portrayed himself, but things were awfully different. The only eye he had remaining was glowing a bright yellow, similar to a star in the night sky. The eye that was missing had a jet of yellow light coming out of it periodically. He also carried a knife, covered in what looks like to be dust, the remnants of Monsters when they die, dried blood, as well as fresh blood, dripping from the blade itself.

"What? No... This can't be who I become," Develyn thought.

Just then he heard an ear-piercing scream, which broke out of his spell. He bolted outside, where he sees Frisk hurting Asriel. Develyn hallucinated once more and attacked a mysterious figure in a green and yellow striped sweater, similar to the one Asriel is wearing. The only difference is that it has one stripe, compared to two. Little did he know that he was attacking Frisk.

"Run inside. NOW!" Develyn yelled to a wounded Asriel. Asriel soon got up and ran inside. He was only bruised. "You think it's OK to do this? I'll kill you right where you stand!"

"Develyn... Put me down!" Frisk shouted. Develyn dropped Frisk on the ground, leaving her to fall on the ground myself.

"I'm sorry, I don't know what's going on with me. I feel I'm hurting you guys," Develyn stated.

"What do you mean?" Frisk asked.

"Just leave me alone. I'm out of here!" Develyn answered.

"Dev, wait!" Frisk exclaimed.

Develyn reached a small forest in the outer edge of Ebott. He also saw a sketchy building down the distance. The branches were obstructing his view, however

"Goor!" Develyn shouted. The branches soon moved to get a more clearer view. Develyn went down the road to the house itself, and knocked on the door.

He then heard heavy footsteps and the door open moments later. Behind it, lies a rather big Monster who put on a bit of weight. He also had a goatee and large horns. He also wore a pink shirt with white flowers, as well as blue jeans to finish it off.

"What are you doing out here?" he asked.

"It's getting late and I need a place to stay for a bit," Develyn answered.
