Chapter 21: TRUE Justice (Part 2)

Chara was absolutely shocked with how Flowey was defeated.

"I think he's showing off," Chara thought to herself. Chara started slow clapping at Develyn.

"Why thank you. I guess you should surrender yourself. My power, compared to yours, is nothing," Develyn responded.

"You know I won't go down without a fight, right? You know what, I'll probably do the same to you instead," Chara responded.

"What do you mean?" Develyn asked. Chara grabbed Asriel out from the alleyway and had her blade pressed against his neck.

"If you don't join me in ERASING the world, he dies," Chara stated.

"I never visioned Nirn in fire and brimstone. And I never will," Develyn muttered. Just as Chara was about to glide the blade over Asriel's neck, Develyn disarmed Chara, losing grip of the knife, as well as Asriel, who was still alive. "Not my brother, you Daedric scum!" 

"Heh, guess you're a stubborn individual," Chara stated. A loud, ominous roar can be heard moments later. It turns out, a dragon wanted to join in on the battle. Surprisingly, Develyn didn't know about this shout in his arsenal. "ZII LOS DII DU!" Develyn shouted. The dragon died immediately and Develyn absorbed the dragon's SOUL. The dragon, however, wouldn't be done yet. The dragon knocked over a section of the building, toppling a ton of bricks.

"ASRIEL, LOOK OUT!!" Frisk screamed. It was too late, however. Asriel's legs were crushed by the mighty force of the bricks itself. Asriel let out an ear-piercing scream.

"HAH! And I thought he was your sibling," Chara exclaimed.

"Shut up!" Develyn screamed. "I think it's time I take you to a place called Oblivion!"

"Oh, bring it on!" Chara exclaimed.

The second battle ensued moments later. Blades between Chara and Develyn clashed. Develyn shouted the weakest form of the Unrelenting Force shout, which staggered Chara. Develyn took advantage of this and proceeded to stab Chara to finish her off, but Chara fought right back. Chara soon staggered Develyn herself and proceeded to use her Crimson Blade on him. Develyn blocked the attack with his shield.

Develyn soon breathed frost to slow Chara's movements, which Develyn took advantage of. Develyn managed to give a good gash around Chara's stomach, but Chara mimicked the action. Now, Develyn has a gash across his chest. Develyn was already bruised up from his fight with Flowey, but he has this drive to continue forward.

Chara's attacks started to get a little more powerful as well. Develyn kept his head cool and got hit frequently, but Chara soon struck a dangerous blow that Develyn somehow survived from. But Develyn was in a position where he couldn't attack. He only had one thing up his sleeve. Develyn teleported Chara to the top of a tall building and Develyn pushed her off the building.

Develyn wasn't done yet, he then teleported on top of her and gave Chara a serious gash across the chest. Develyn teleported back on solid ground, while Chara hit the ground incredibly hard. Chara was tired, so was Develyn, but the fight was far from finished, or so it seems.

The two clashed blades one last time, but Chara's fatigue was starting to catch up to her insanely quick. Develyn took a jab at her neck, which Chara failed to notice. She tried to block the incoming blow, but it was too late. Develyn slit Chara's throat with the very blade she killed Frisk with in an alternate timeline.

Chara was on the ground, coughing up blood. Chara soon went into shock and died seconds later.

"You see, this is what happens when you try to destroy the world. Game over..." Develyn stated. Chara's SOUL soon flew out of her body. Develyn absorbed the SOUL into the Black SOUL Gem.

"DEV!" Frisk screamed. Develyn looked over and saw Frisk trying to help Asriel remove the bricks.

"Call 911, I'll remove the rest!" Develyn exclaimed.

"But mom never told me t--," Frisk said before Develyn cut her off.

"Do you want Asriel dead, or not?!" Develyn shouted.

Frisk thought quickly and called 911 immediately afterward.
