Develyn continued to walk down the crimson landscape, until he heard two people arguing. Develyn quickly hid behind a Shadewood tree.

"I told you many times before! I'm not giving you my SOUL. With your demon-like personality, you'd cause more harm than good!" Frisk exclaimed.

"Every single night, you tell me this! It's the same crap every time! I swear, Frisk. When are you going to stop?" a mysterious person asked.

Develyn soon peeked form behind the tree. He saw Frisk, then a person in the same sweater as earlier. He saw an unwanted sight.

The mysterious person started to hold Frisk up by the throat. "One day, Frisk, one day. There will be NO more time. NONE! I will simply get control, whether you like it or not!"

Develyn emerged from the tree, charged at the person, and tackled her.

"What is this?! Who are you?" the person asked.

"That's none of your concern," Develyn answered. "The real question is, who are you?"

The mysterious person gave a smug smile. "Me? I'm Chara, Chara Dreemurr," Chara answered.

"Develyn. What are you doing here?" Frisk asked.

"I don't what I'm doing here, or why I'm here," Develyn answered.

"You clearly have a purpose, like you're here to stop me," Chara added.

"That could be a reason, but from what I heard, you're a traitor!" Develyn shouted.

Frisk's eyes lit up. Chara laughed. "Why do you think I'm a traitor? What did I do wrong to piss off a ton of people?" Chara asked.

"You took Asriel away from them. He might be back now, but you enraged a king. I swear, if you intend to harm Frisk, you won't live to see another sunrise!" Develyn explained.

"ASRIEL?! You mean that little crybaby who can't get himself straight?" Chara replied.

"He already knows you did something wrong," Develyn started.

"He forgot you, Chara. He even said you weren't the greatest person," Frisk added.

"Ooooh!" Develyn thought to himself, as Frisk straight up roasted Chara. Asriel too, also roasted her a few months back.

"WHAT?! How dare he. I dare him to say that to my face, see if don't give him a bloody nose!" Chara exclaimed.

"He is right, you were a jerk if he doesn't call you "the greatest person"," Develyn added.

"What?! You're sick... Develyn, is it?" Chara asked.

"OK, you got me there," Develyn answered.

"In fact, I swear I might've as well drag you into the deal of giving me your SOUL," Chara added.

"I'll tell one thing, for sure. It won't end pretty," Develyn noted.

"You don't realize what he is, Chara. Heck, Develyn doesn't even know who he is right now. He thought he was some ordinary boy with a strange power, like me, but recent events showed that's not the case," Frisk explained.

"I don't care what he is. I want his power, as well as yours. I want to erase this world, for good!" Chara protested, pulling out a knife in the process.

"ZUN! HAAL VIIK!" Develyn shouted, disarming Chara. "That doesn't scare me."

Chara did her famed "creepy face", but that didn't appear to scare Develyn, it made him smile.

"What are you doing?" Develyn asked, chuckling slightly.

"What is wrong with you? Many people freak out when I do that. But with you... You don't seem to care at all," Chara explained.

"You don't my past. And Frisk is right, you don't know who the hell I am. Yeah, I don't know myself, but that's a disaster waiting to happen," Develyn added.

"What? Show me your SOUL!" Chara exclaimed.

"Don't show her your SOUL, Develyn," a mysterious voice bellowed.

"Who said that?" Develyn asked.

A figure emerged. He looked to be very tall, about seven feet, to be exact. He wore a goatee with pride, as well as shining armor, that nearly covered him head to toe. "I did," the figure answered.

"My goodness... Who are you?" Frisk asked.

"Tiber Septim, but you can call me Talos. You might know me as the Divine God of War. Develyn, it would be wrong to show Chara your SOUL. You three would be all perplexed by it. Chara would be so perplexed, she would take it herself," Talos explained.

"Why do mean it that way?" Develyn asked.

Talos smiled. "You are special, Develyn. Very special, your kind is something different. The feeling that you don't know who you truly are, amazes me and my other eight colleagues. You're like Frisk, you have a power that you don't know about, but you learn about it each passing day. Look at Frisk now. She used that power to free the Monsters from their eternal prison. With you, you can use that power, to save the world," Talos explained.

"Save it? Nuh-uh. He's gonna die any other human, right?" Chara explained.

Talos smirked and shook his head. "Not without a fight. And that fight, you will lose, Chara. His power is remarkable. You'll die to him, thanks to his power," Talos explained.

"There's no way," Chara added.

"Ah, but there is," Talos stated before walking away.

"Wait, come back," Develyn said, but it was too late.

"Maybe Chara needs to see what your power is truly like," Frisk stated.

"I wanna see it," Chara stated.

"Fine, here goes... GAAN!" Develyn shouted, knocking Chara out.

"I didn't mean that," Frisk noted.

"Well, she was getting annoying, with her petty attempts to steal our SOULs," Develyn answered.

There was a loud echo that went throughout the landscape. That was the alarm clock, ending the dream.

Develyn falls off his bed trying to shut off the alarm, he did eventually. Frisk soon woke up seconds after, and Asriel was jolted awake by the loud thud.

"You alright?" Asriel asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Develyn answered.

"OK," Asriel added.

"It's not like I'm gonna become one of the 450 people who die falling out of bed each year," Develyn noted.

"People actually die from that?" Frisk asked.

"Yeah," Develyn answered.

"Goodness," Frisk added.

"Oh, and Frisk. I don't know what happened, but you and Chara were in my dream last night," Develyn stated.

"I'm not gonna lie, but I saw you there as well. You completely knocked her out," Frisk answered.

"I did? Huh..." Develyn answered.

"Well, I heard you're going to Alphys today, let's hope she knows who you are," Frisk stated.

"Yeah, hopefully," Develyn answered.
