"WO TIL?!" Develyn shouted. Laughter resumed seconds later.

"Hehehehehe! I'm down here!" the demonic voice screamed.

Develyn looked down and saw a flower with two beady eyes looking at him. "Who are you?!" Develyn exclaimed.

"I'm Flowey, Flowey the flower. I'm your best friend, remember?" Flowey asked.

"Flowey? Friend? I don't even know a darn thing about you!" Develyn exclaimed. Flowey's expression changed from lively to grimacing in a split second.

"Oh? So, that's how it's gonna be huh?" Flowey asked, with his demonic voice returning.

"Afraid so," Develyn answered.

"It's also gonna result in your extinction," a bellowing voice answered.

"Who said that?" Develyn asked.

"SHOW YOURSELF!" Flowey screamed. A gold wispy dragon soon flew in from the barrier to where Flowey and Develyn stood.

"Whoa, who are you?" Develyn asked.

"Akatosh. The God of Time, and leader of the Nine Divines. I'm afraid your time is running out, Flowey. With you antagonizing the poor Dreemurr heir for power and possession, it'll be a matter of time before this young gentleman brings you down himself," Akatosh explained.

"Heir," that word echoed in Develyn's head. Then he realized Akatosh is referring to Asriel.

"Is there any way I can bring him down?" Develyn asked.

"Afraid not. With's Chara slowly regaining power over Frisk, and Flowey's regaining over Asriel, there is nothing you can do. Once they gain a presence in the real world, then a power will come to you to have both Asriel and Frisk back, while you deal with physical forms of Chara and Flowey himself," Akatosh explained.

"What? So, you're telling me that I knocked Chara out in Frisk's dream for nothing?" Develyn asked.

"Yeah, afraid so," Akatosh answered.]

"POWER?! I bet this guy doesn't have anything!" Flowey exclaimed.

Akatosh laughed. "That's where you're wrong, you pathetic weed. Develyn is a special being, and he's starting to figure out who he truly is. His purpose, as you will. Develyn is the most powerful being to set foot on Nirn since Talos himself," Akatosh explained.

"I killed a dragon, for goodness sake," Develyn added.

"Yes, he killed a dragon for good measure. But once you and Chara surface at the same time. You might've start writing your eulogies and obituaries, cause you're gonna fall to Develyn," Akatosh explained.

"I doubt it," Flowey started.

"Doubt all you want!" a second bellowing voice screamed.

"Arkay! Stay out of this!" Akatosh screamed.

"Why should I? I just wanna say that when Flowey and Chara die, I'm only carrying Chara to Oblivion, which is where she truly belongs. As for Flowey, he'll just decompose into the earth itself," Arkay stated.

Develyn suddenly couldn't take much of the dream anymore. "Wake up..." an unknown voice stated. Develyn followed the command.

Develyn woke up and it was still dark outside. He had no choice, but to get more answers. Who Flowey is, how he's connected to Asriel, and how he and Chara are connected.

Quietly, Develyn left the house, but he left a note on the kitchen counter, stating he's gonna be at Alphys' lab, gathering some information.

Develyn arrived at Alphys's lab hours later, right before the crack of dawn. Develyn knocked on the metal door, which echoed throughout the lab. Develyn waited for a few minutes before Alphys opened the door.

"Dev? What are you doing here?" Alphys asked tiredly, before yawning seconds later.

"Look, I just had a dream about Flowey last night. I need to know who that weed is," Develyn answered. Alphys' eyes lit up.

"Flowey? You don't say? Come in, I might be able to help," Alphys explained. Alphys soon turned on the lights to the laboratory, which blinded both Develyn and Alphys. Alphys soon went into the library and pulled a book down from the shelf. Alphys then went to some strange bowl, with some kind of water-like fluid on the top. Develyn watched Alphys rip out pages of the book. Don't worry, the pages would magically repair themselves.

"What are you doing?" Develyn asked.

"I'm still too tired to read everything to you, so I'm making you witness these memories in it's physicality," Alphys explained. Alphys then placed the pages into the water-filled bowl itself.

"What is that?" Develyn asked.

"It's a pensieve. It's purpose is to review memories. You'll be able to view the memories from a third person view. However, you won't be able to interact with the real world. You're a ghost in the memory. Once the sequence of memories end, you'll be surrounded with a gray mist, that will be the perfect time to pull out," Alphys explained.

"And how do I start these memories itself?" Develyn asked.

"Simple, you dip your head into the silver fluid. Don't worry, you won't drown in there," Alphys explained.

"I do wanna ask though. What happens if I pull out while the memories are being played?" Develyn asked.

"Well, I don't know precisely, but I wouldn't do it anyway," Alphys stated. "Now, I gotta head back to sleep. Learn what you can."

Alphys soon walked off, leaving Develyn alone in the library. He soon decided to dip his head into the pensieve.
