Develyn woke up the following morning to see a change he didn't want to see. Chara and Flowey had left the house, leaving the window wide open.
"It doesn't have to be this way, but it does," Develyn muttered. He got a good look at the mirror once more. He zoned on it, bringing out a hallucination on the mirror. The only thing he's curious about, is the knife. The knife had a bit of dust, which stuck, thanks to the dried blood. The blade also had fresh blood dripping from it.
He figured out the blood was Chara's.
"I'm suppose to kill her with a blade, worn blade. Where am I suppose to get it?" Develyn asked.
Toriel knocked on the door. "I'm wondering if everything is OK," Toriel stated.
"Come in Tori," Develyn stated.
"Oh my, gosh, they left. And you're still here," Toriel stated.
"They'll come back. I promise you. I'm just wondering, where the hell did I blade from? The only blade I ever wielded in my life was a pocket knife from a dead student," Develyn questioned.
Toriel's phone started to ring. It was Sans calling her. "I'll be back, Develyn," Toriel stated.
"Tori, can you hear me?" Sans asked.
"What is it, Sans?" Toriel asked.
"Listen, I believe I might have something that can cause Develyn to get the job done. I know his power is strong, but he needs a good finisher," Sans stated.
"I'll let him know," Toriel stated. Toriel hung up moments later. "Develyn."
"Huh?" Develyn asked.
"Sans said he has something for you at his house," Toriel stated.
"I might've as well go there now. Time's ticking," Develyn stated.
Develyn soon put on his jacket and left the house. He quickly ran to Sans's house.

Sans was sitting on his chair, waiting for Develyn to knock on the door. Develyn on the door a moment later.
"Oh, good. Glad you're here," Sans stated.
"Tori sent me here. What's going on?" Develyn asked.
"Follow me," Sans answered. Sans led Develyn to his room. There was always this strange thing coming out of and is resembled a light show. When Develyn entered his room, there was no light show present. Sans flicked on the light and the room was a complete mess. There was even a bunch of trash that started swirling around, similar to a tornado. "Don't mind the mess."
"I bet your brother yells at you about that," Develyn added.
"He does, and he tells me to clean it, but I never do," Sans added.
Sans quickly pulled out a golden key out of his pocket and reached for something underneath his bed. He soon grabbed a gray stongbox with a couple of locks on it. With the key in his hand he unlocked the locks and removed them from the box itself. Sans soon opened the box and there was a lot of plastic wrap. Sans soon uncovered the plastic wrap revealing a blade. The exact same blade Develyn had in his vision.
"I swear, I see that in my visions," Develyn noted.
"Huh... Guess your visions figured out you were gonna use this," Sans explained.
"Can you explained the dust and dried blood at the very least?" Develyn asked.
"Well, this blade was the exact same blade Frisk used in an alternate timeline. The dust is obviously from the remnants of Monsters when they die. Monsters don't possess a ton blood themselves, but I quickly gathered that this was Frisk's blood that's all dried up," Sans explained.
"So Chara killed Frisk in the alternate timeline?" Develyn asked.
"That she did. Guess it's time to give her a taste of her own medicine," Sans answered.
"I guess it's time. I gotta be quick too," Develyn stated.
"By any chance if you fail, I'll pick up where you left off," Sans stated.
"I'll be fine Sans. If I'm destined to do this, then I might've as well," Develyn stated.
Develyn soon left Sans's room, then the house all together. Rain was starting to fall, then thunder rumbled seconds later.
