Chapter 6 - Not Cool!

Maya's pov

This morning I am getting ready to go to college but I remembered that I don't have college until next week. But I did get a message from Ashleigh and she suggested we go shopping. I agreed with that, so I messaged Olivia about it and to be ready by 10am, I decided to let her hang out with me and my friends. As she didn't message me back, I thought she was already awake and ready, so I went down and I didn't find her. As Ashleigh and the girls are here, I decided to leave without Olivia, it is her lose that she didn't want to come shopping with us.

*10 Hours Later*

As I was on my way home, I kept thinking about Olivia, I kept telling myself if I should message her and ask her what happened and why she didn't come out with us. When I get home, I will ask her. But she told me that she wants to hang out with me. I am very confused, so when everyone goes to sleep, that is when I will ask her. I just hope Olivia doesn't misunderstand me but I am very angry with her as she didn't even message me back. I got home and that is when Olivia told me that she didn't even read my message. What an idiot she is. It is decided that I will go and talk to her later.

*10:30pm*

I think my mom, dad and Jay are all asleep, so I quickly changed into my pyjamas, grabbed my phone and I went to Olivia's room. The door is slightly open. I saw that Olivia is sitting my her dressing table. She is sulking, I don't even know how to solve it. Olivia doesn't even get it, I don't want to start babysitting her. I hope it doesn't come to that.

'Hey, Olivia, can I come in?' I said.

'Hey, yeah sure. Come in.' Olivia says.

'Look, we need to talk.' I added.

'Okay, what's up cuz?' Olivia asked.

'Look, is there any reason you didn't look at my message this morning?' I said.

'My phone was on silent, so I didn't even hear it. At first I thought you ditched me and didn't want to hang out with me.' Olivia replied.

'The whole reason I messaged you is so that we can hang actually hang out together. I wanted you to come shopping with me and my friends.' I added.

'Maya, I am really sorry. I just thought you didn't want me to hang out with you, so I didn't bother messaging you or check my messages. But I am really sorry, please forgive me Maya.' Olivia begs.

'It's okay, I forgive you. And you can come with us tomorrow for bowling and sushi.' I added.

'Thanks. Anyways, I better go to sleep, I am really tired.' Olivia says.

'Yeah, goodnight.' I said. I walked out of Olivia's bedroom and went back to my own room. I got a message from Cameron.

C: 'Hey babe, how are you? Xx'

M: 'Hey babe, I am good. How are you? Xx'

C: 'Good. I am fine. I need to tell you something? Xx'

M: 'What happened? Xx'

C: 'The date has arrived for my second and last knee operation xx'

M: 'Ahhh yay! When is it? Xx'

C: 'Next Thursday at 2:30pm xx'

M: 'That's great. Shall I come with you? Xx'

C: 'Well, you are my good luck charm, so obviously I do need you to come with me xx'

M: 'Awwww! Don't worry, I will come with you and stay with you until you are discharged from the hospital xx'
