Chapter 16 - Having So Much Fun!

Olivia's pov

As soon as I got ready, I heard voices from downstairs. I think Maya has her friends over. I don't think Cameron is here yet because I can't hear him, so I have nothing to worry about. I finally have Cameron to myself and I don't have to worry about anyone, well he is not Maya's anymore but I still have to be careful as Maya and Cameron recently broke up, so I have to take a step at a time. As soon as I heard Cameron was downstairs, I got my bag and went down. I saw everyone, so I smiled at them all; Maya is sitting on the table with Beth, Sophie and Ashleigh, whilst Kayden, Jordan and Oscar are standing with Cameron.

'Cameron, hey! I thought you were coming at 11am?' I said.

'Well, the place we are going to for lunch, is about an hour away from here, so I came early! Are you ready to go?' Cameron said.

'Where are we going? And yes, I am ready.' I say.

'I will tell you in the car! Let's go.' Cameron ordered. He walked out.

'Okay! Bye guys!' I said.

'Bye, have fun!' Beth said. I walked out of the house and went to sit in the car.

'Cameron, are you okay? 'I asked.

'Yeah, I am fine. Why do you ask that Olivia?' Cameron says.

'I am just asking because you didn't even look at Maya or even talk to her.' I replied.

'Well, that's because I broke up with her. That's why I am not talking to her anymore. That's what happens when you break up with someone, you wouldn't know that because you haven't experienced it.' Cameron said.'

'It's not my fault I find it hard to find a guy.' I replied.

'Well, you have me now, so you don't have to worry about it now!' Cameron says.

'Ahhh that's good.' I said. I don't know what happened but I felt tired, so I fell asleep. I got a really good night sleep. But I still fell asleep. I have no clue what happened.

Cameron's pov

I can't believe I couldn't even say anything to Maya. I wanted to hug her but I couldn't as Olivia was in the house and could come down at any point; it's better to stay safe than sorry. I didn't want to risk it either, so it's good. I was driving to the restaurant when I saw that Olivia is asleep. That is good because that means there is peace and quiet in the car. I don't have to listen to her talking to me. I just zoned out and went into my own world, whilst listening to music.

*2 Hours Later*

'Olivia, wake up! We are here!' I said.

'Huh? What happened?' Olivia says.

'We have reached the restaurant we are having lunch at.' I replied.

'Oh okay. How long was I asleep for?' Olivia asked.

'Well, we have been driving for a while, we have were stuck in traffic for 1 hour and 30 minutes. And it takes 30 to 60 minutes to get to the restaurant from Maya's house, so you have been asleep for about 2 hours.' I said.

'Oh fair enough. Shall we go inside then?' Olivia says.

'Yeah, let's go.' I added. I am so not looking forward to this at all, but it has to happen. We walked into the restaurant and we waited for the waiter to take us to our seat. I just went on my phone to see if Maya has messaged me but she hasn't messaged me once I yet. I will message him once I have sat down.

'Hi guys, would you like a table for 2?' A man says.

'Yes please.' I said.

'Cool, follow me then please!' The man says.

'Thank you.' Olivia says.

'My name is Will and I will be your waiter. Can I get you guys something to drink?' Will said.

'Yeah, can I get a coke please? No ice or lemon. Thanks.' I said.

'Yeah. And for you ma'am?' Will said.

'I'll have a coke as well please.' Olivia said.

'Cool. Would you like to order some starters?' Will says.

'Urm, do you do nachos?' Olivia asked.

'Olivia, this is a Mexican restaurant and nachos are from Northern Mexico! Don't be stupid.' I added. She is so stupid.

'Oh yeah! Do you wanna get 1 nachos to share Cameron?' Olivia said.

'Yeah okay! One nachos please!' I said.

'No problem. Won't be too long! In the meantime, you can have a look at the menu and decide what you want to eat for your main course.' Will says.

'Cool, thanks man!' I say.

'Well, what do you want to eat?' Olivia said.

'I love Mexican food, so I might have a burrito!' I replied.

'I love burritos. I was gonna order that as well!' Olivia says.

'Cool. I am also gonna order a burrito, I will order 2 for me because I am really hungry.' I replied.

'I am hungry too!' Olivia added. I don't really care what she is feeling; I want this day to end. Whilst I am waiting, I went on my phone. I have a couple of messages. It is from my friends.

K: 'Yo Cam, how are you?'

J: 'Are you still alive?'

O: 'Has Olivia bored you to death?'

S: 'I am pretty sure he is still alive, right Cam?'

A: 'He is gonna be fine, I think!'

B: 'Dude, say something!'

M: 'Guys, let's hope he is okay! He is a man, don't worry. But to be on the safe side, you are still alive Cam?'

C: 'Woah guys! Calm down, I am still alive! I am just really bored. I don't really wanna go to an art museum, especially with Olivia!'

O: 'Then don't go to the art museum!'

C: 'Well, I haven't told her much about what we are doing! But what do I do with her then?'

J: 'Come to the amusement park with us!'

M: 'Yeah, come with us!' 

S: 'It will be fun!'

K: 'Well, it will be fun to have Cam with us but not Olivia!'

A: 'Yeah, it will be fun!'

B: 'Sounds good!'

C: 'Cool, I will tell her about this but won't Olivia suspect anything?'

M: 'Just tell her that you are going to hang out with your friends at the amusement park and Maya will be there but you won't talk to me. We will just ignore each other!'

C: 'That sounds good! What time you all going?'

J: 'We are gonna go about 5pm?'

C: 'Okay, cool. See you guys later!'

J: 'See you later bro!'

'Hey Olivia, do you want to go to the amusement park later, around 5pm?' I asked.

'Yeah, that sounds fun. Is it just going to be just us? Or will your friends be there?' Olivia says.

'Urm, we are going with my friends but don't worry, me and Maya won't be talking!' I added.

'Okay, that's fine. Yeah, we can go to the amusement park. What time are we going there?' Olivia says.

'Cool! I told you what time we are going there, we are going at 5pm.' I replied.

'Awesome.' Olivia says.

Will came out with our drinks and our nachos. We also told him what we want to eat; I found out that we get 2 burritos in a meal, so we ordered 2 burrito meals. After 30 minutes, we got our food. We ate and we just talked about things and we got to know each other, which was one thing I don't really want to but have to play along with it all.
