Brief Note: This POV is of the Alpha heir of the Blue Moon pack. We'll be rotating between both pack POV's during the story. Sorry for any confusion.

Aaron's POV:

I stare out the office window, zoning out here and there while my father goes on about my Alpha duties as next Alpha. I've had this conversation a bunch of times before but I don't know why father insists on reminding me again and again.

"AARON CHRISTOPHER BLUE! Have you heard a word I said?" My father gives me a hard glare as I swiftly look towards him trying to remember what he was talking about. I stare back at him, not caring about the fact that he's my father. In our pack the strongest are the only worthy ones. Any sign of weakness and you're basically dead. My father, being the Alpha, has made a lot of pack members rouge, just keeping the people that were worthy. Our numbers are still big but we're always training our pack into being the strongest ever.

"You are the future alpha," my father goes says. Before he can go on though, there's a knock on the door and my best friends and future beta and gamma of our pack, Damien and Rayden come in.

"Sorry to interrupt Alpha but we should leave or else we'll be late for school." Says Damien, bowing in respect to my father. Father sighs and waves his hand, giving me permission to leave. I hide a sigh of relief and walk out, giving my friends a thankful look. As we walk out towards my Lamborghini Veneno, Damien nudges me and smirks, pointing towards the girls standing near my car.

"Looks like the big bad Alpha has many Luna's waiting for him." Rayden tries to hide his laugh as we walk up to my car. As I'm about to sit, Brianna, my ex-girlfriend struts over. I broke up with her a month ago. I found another girl that I really like but she's not 18 yet. I was hoping that the attraction means that we'll be mates but I doubt it. Our pack is one of the unluckiest. We have been cursed to never find our mates. I don't exactly know how it happened but no one has found their mate ever since . My mother, the Luna, is not my father's mate but because he didn't find a mate, he mated with her. Thankfully they loved each other as actual mates should.. This was really rare and I hoped that I would be as lucky as them.

"Hey babe, how are you," Brianna purrs as I try to avoid her by getting into my car.

"Get the eff outta here Brianna. I can't believe I ever dated you. You don't deserve me, you're a low life girl who just wants power, money and a person to sleep around with. Get outta my face and I should never see you around my house ever again." I snapped. Brianna started to cry and ran away, her friends following behind her. I got into my car, Damien sitting in the passenger seat while Rayden sat at the back. We drove off tho school. They were used to me being like this due to the fact that I was the next Alpha and couldn't show any mercy because that would be my weakness. We weren't known as the most terrifying pack for no reason.

Damien's POV:

When we reach the school I see that Aaron is not as mad as he was. He is looking for Sarah his girlfriend and mate to be from his perspective. I have seen so many lives destroyed because of mating . My father didn't find his mate so his parents arranged a marriage between him and my mother. They weren't mates but it was our pack's reality.  Ever since I was small they always fought and then one day my mom committed suicide because she couldn't stand my dad any longer. My dad and moms link was so weak that it didn't affect him at all and he just brought another wife in a month. My thoughts were disturbed when Rayden spoke up.

"Hey man lets go before Mr.Gill grills us alive for being late again. This will be the third time in a row." Rayden says while pushing people out of our way. Aaron shrugs and I can tell that he hasn't found Sarah. The disappointment is clear on his face.

"Lets go and see what happens." I say nonchalantly.

********

Rayden's POV:

The lunch bell rang and I was finally freed from the dreadfully boring clutches of math class. The sea of students slightly parted to make room for me as I walked to my locker. I dumped my binders in and was about to close my locker back, but was interrupted by Aaron hitting the back of my head.

"Hey!" I cried, rubbing the back of my head. He smirked at me so I smacked his face away. Sarah clamped her hand over her mouth to hold back a fit of giggles. I guess Aaron had finally found her.

Damien yelled out our names from the other side of the hallway and strolled over.

We met him halfway because he walks way too slow, which was his way of grabbing attention. What he didn't know was that it made him look like a creep. We walked off to the cafeteria and sat down at our table with our other pack mates. We went to a school mixed with humans. They didn't know that we were wolves but because our pack was so big, we had to mingle with the humans. We stayed with our pack mates though, not letting any humans in. We didn't talk to the humans unless it was necessary. Sarah though was an exception  Looking at Sarah, I noticed that she looked disturbed and wasn't her usual bubbly self. Aaron was in his own thought to notice anything. Before  I could say anything though, Damien spoke up.
"Hey A!" Damien spoke up, "You wanna check out the new ride at the pack's amusement park next week?"

"Yeah," I interjected, trying to convince Aaron, "loosen up a bit and have some fun!"

"Uhm.." Aaron started but Sarah was having none of that

"Come on Aaron, you can use this outing as an excuse to escape your dad's lectures!" He thought about it for a moment and agreed happily

"Of course!" I held back a laugh. If there was anyone who could get Aaron to agree to something, it was Sarah. She always knew exactly what to say in order to persuade him.

It wasn't always like this, not at all. Back when Aaron broke up with Brianna he didn't have any fun at all. His dad was super pissed that time because he believed that Aaron needed to choose a Luna and he thought that Aaron was just being rebellious.
But Brianna was extremely unbearably slutty. If Aaron didn't dump her, I would've gladly disposed of her in much more permanent way.

Anyhow, one day we had been on our way to school when we ran into some rouges. They weren't any trouble, we easily beat them. But the small delay made us late to school and since we were already in our wolf form we just sprinted over to school.

We though no one was around and shifted back. But we thought wrong. Sarah has been skipping socials class and walked in on us the exact moment we changed into our human forms.

Luckily for us, she was pretty chill about the whole thing and she even promised to keep the whole thing a secret. Aaron started liking her a lot after that and one thing led to another and now they were dating. Aaron was absolutely sure they were gonna be mates, practically everyone expected them to be destined together. They just fit like perfect puzzle pieces.
