Mates with the Enemy

CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Michelle POV:
Sarah is the best! She is literally the best chef I have ever met. We had gotten hungry earlier and she somehow managed to whip up a batch of cookies in record time. But with friends like J and Sean, the cookies barely lasted ten minutes.
Sarah has gone back to the kitchen with Felix to go make some more cookies while the rest of us sat here drooling at the wonderful smell coming out of the oven.
I'm really happy for Felix, finding a mate is super important for a wolf and he was able to find his so early!
"No fair!!" Sean yelled out "I refuse to admit defeat!"
He and Soph were playing a game of chess, and by the looks of it Soph had just won.
"There is no way you could have won without cheating!" He cried out. Soph chuckled at him and reset the board.
So far, Soph hasn't spoken a word since Sarah showed up. I knew it was just because she was shy around strangers, but sometimes she needs to go out of her comfort zone. The only people she really talks to are pack mates, and she usually tried to use her mind link when she wanted to communicate.
Sarah and Felix came back in with a fresh plate of cookies. Sean and J practically pounced on them and grabbed a fistful each before settling back down.
Sarah set the plate down on the coffee table and everyone else took some cookies and quickly finished off the plate.
"Felix!" J called out with a mouth full of cookies, "give us Sarah for a day."
He looked at her skeptically, "What do you plan on doing with her?"
"Shopping spree!!" She cried out, spraying him with cookie crumbs. He glared at her as he brushed himself off.
"Okay I guess. But she better come back in one piece, or else!" He warned her
"Don't worry," I piped up before J could spit cookies in anyone else, "I'll keep an eye on Jia."

Sophia's POV:
Elle's driving us to the mall. J's sitting in the passenger seat and blasting her music while singing along.
Sarah turned to me, "Hi." She said softly. I waved back to her
"Do you not speak?" She asked me. I shook my head no.
'You speak ASL?' She asked slowly in sign language. I smiled at her. There weren't many people that knew sign language in our town. I'm glad that she knew it, because it would be much easier to communicate with her instead of speaking.
'Yes.' I replied 'I know how to talk, but I don't like to.'
She frowned slightly, 'Sorry, I only know little ASL.' I smiled encouragingly and repeated what I had signed earlier, but slower this time
'I can teach you more signs.' I made sure to sign slowly for her
'Thank you' She replied with a wide grin.
J turned around to look at us
"Sarah, do you think we should stop at the food court first, or should we eat after we shop?" I almost burst out laughing at J's question. This always sparked a debate every time we went shopping. Jia believed we needed to eat first in order to gain energy and burn off the calories of the food but Michelle always said we can treat ourselves to food after a long day of shopping.
"Why not both?" She replied with an evil grin
"I love the way you think!" J chuckled.

Elle's POV:
My arms are getting heavy. We've been shopping for three full hours and honestly, I'd be surprised if we still had any more money to spend after today.
Everyone's super happy though, and that's all that matters. J got a whole bunch of cute new outfits, Sarah found a candy store and she bought as much as she could, and I binged at the bookstore. We are currently inside a craft store watching Soph as she goes crazy on art supplies.
"Today was soo awesome! Thank you guys so much!" Sarah said, dropping her heavy shopping bags to give us hugs.
"We can do this again anytime you want" I replied sincerely
"As long as we ain't broke by the end of today" Jia commented, making us all laugh. Soph payed for her stuff and we headed out the store.
"Is anyone tired yet? Because my arms are dying!" I cried
"You aren't the only one, sista" Jia replied " ya lets go home now, I am tired plus I am sure Felix is waiting at home like a puppy"

I looked at Sarah and I saw her blush pink. She is so cute and I love her and Felix together.Finally we made our mind to leave and soon after we did.
