Mates with the Enemy

CHAPTER SIXTEEN

Rayden's POV

We've been planning our attack for a week and a half now. I feel bad for Aaron, Sarah's disappearance has really taken a toll on him. He's been practically obsessed with planning how to rescue her and because of this he's barely gotten any sleep.
I dropped a couple sleeping pills in his dinner last night, because if he really wanted to help Sarah, then he shouldn't be passing out in the middle of our rescue mission. We're going to start our ambush tomorrow, so he should have enough sleep by then. He's probably gonna kill me for that when I wake up but I'll deal with that problem later.
At the moment, Damien was 'restocking his fuels', or so he says. Just some fancy way to say he was shoveling food into his mouth right now. I was going over our plan just to make sure there were no flaws, or that nothing would backfire.
'Dinner time!' I heard someone call through mind link. I packed away the stuff and headed to the dining room.
"RAYDEN! Where the hell are you?!" Oh sh*t. Aaron woke up. He stomped down the stairs with a murderous look gleaming in his eyes.
"Wait don't kill me!" I cried running behind Damien
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you for knocking me out for an entire day!" He bellowed
"Well technically," I started peeking from behind Damien, "it was sleeping pills so you weren't exactly knocked out." He growled at me and I yelled in fright
"You should be thanking me! It's because of me that you won't be a sleeping beauty tomorrow!" I cried out
"Yeah," Damien joined in. I sent him a grateful look, "if you hadn't slept today, you would've passed out tomorrow. And then there's no way you could've helped Sarah."
"Fine." He grumbled and sat down to eat dinner. I sat far from him, just because he calmed down doesn't mean he isn't still angry.
I  went over the plan with with everyone. We were sending 5 of our best warriors to the Eagle pack, Midnight's neighbor pack, tonight. Once they got there, they will call us to let us know. Aaron, Damien and I will leave the pack house with a dozen or so warriors. By the time we leave, the Eagle Pack will have called Midnight for help. Once we get there, the best warriors will be gone and very far away. We will then ambush the Midnight pack. The warriors will be too far away to come back for help and by the time they do, we will already have destroyed their crops, have found Sarah and left. Aaron nods and mind links the warriors that are going.

They all come quickly and Aaron gives the get go to leave. They turn into their wolf forms because it is faster for them to get there. Now our plan had been put into action. All we have to do is wait...

Felix POV:

The next Morning:

I woke up this morning to shouting and yelling. It was father. I quickly changed and ran downstairs to see what the problem was.

"The Eagle Pack has just been attacked! They need our help. Gather all the warriors and we're leaving NOW!" Father boomed. I looked at him.

"Right away Alpha." I said. All of us started gathering supplies. Sarah, Elle, J and Soph came from there rooms.

"What's going on?" said Elle.

"The Eagle pack is being attacked and they need our help." I said.

Jia POV:

I stared at Felix. I was having a bad feeling about this. Felix looked at us.

"You guys are staying here." He said in a final tone. I wanted to argue but he looked at me pointedly. I sighed but then a churning in my stomach made me talk.

"If you don't want me to go then take Sarah with you at least." He looked at me incredulously. Before he could say anything, I spoke up.

" Look, she's a human. No offense to Sarah but there are females here who believe that a human doesn't deserve to be Luna. If you take her, she'll be safe and people will see how brave she is to go and fight in a battle, making her a great Luna." I spurt out. Felix didn't look convinced. I mind linked Elle to say something. She looked at Felix.
