Mates with the Enemy

CHAPTER TWELVE

Sarah POV:

After 5 hours of a long, boring trip, we finally reach our new house. It's bigger then the one we had before. I get out of the truck and stare at it in awe. My dad gets out and swings his arm around my shoulder smiling.

"Nice, isn't it?" he asks. I smile and give him a hug.

"The best ever!" I exclaim. "Thank you dad for trying for a new beginning." I say softly. Mom comes out of the truck at the same moment and joins the hug.

"I'm sorry sweetie, with everything we had to put you through." she says, tears in her eyes. I tell her its fine. The moment is broken when someone coughs from behind. We let go and behind my dad, Felix is standing there.

I approach him slowly with an awkward smile

"Hi." He says softly. I smile and hug him. I am so grateful for what he's done for me. Felix is surprised for a moment, but then hugs me back. Suddenly my dad pushes Felix away.

"Who the hell are you and why are you hugging my daughter?!?!?" He yells. I calm my dad down and tell him that Felix is a friend. I can't keep it to myself and tell him that I asked Felix to ask his dad to give him a job opportunity at his company. My dad looks shocked but then tears form in his eyes. I guess the thought that I cared affected him. He hugged me again. After a few seconds I get out of his hug.

"OK! Done with this mushy stuff," I say. "Let's go look inside the house." I skip to the door and my dad and Felix laugh at my retreating form. I'm not really the mushy type and hate situations like these. I go straight to my new room and gasp. It's beautiful. The walls are painted midnight blue and there are stars painted on the ceiling. There's light pink bed accompanied with a light pink dresser and wardrobe. I walk in and find a walk in closet and my own bathroom. I'm in love!!! I fall onto my bed and sigh in contentment.

I'm almost about to fall asleep because that was a long ride but Felix walks in with a box full of my stuff. He puts it down and then walks over to my bed.

"I was wondering if you wanted to come to my house and meet my sister and her friends. They have been excited to meet you, being my mate and all." He said hesitantly.

"Of course I'll come." I said jumping up. "I really want to meet your family and friends!"

"Don't say that to Elle's friends, they will take it offensively we are all a big family, we have known each other since we wore diapers." Felix said smirking. I laughed and grabbed my jacket.

"Lets go." I said dragging him outside.

"I might wanna warn you though. Once they get to know you they'll cling on to you and you won't even be able to leave..." Felix said seriously. I looked at him but saw him trying to suppress a smile. I smacked him on the arm and walked over to dad.

"I'm going with Felix to see around town and meet his sister, so I'll have friends around here." I say. Dad nods and tells me to come back by dinner. I tell him I will and jog over to where Felix is standing beside his car. I plop in and he sits too and we're gone.

Michelle POV:

I am super excited to meet Sarah today. Felix went an hour ago to pick her up. He'll be here soon. J and Soph are as excited as I am. Right now we're playing chess and our friend, Jessie is over too. She's a maid at the pack house and is 8 months pregnant. Some disgusting imbecile used her when she had gotten drunk one day and then left, so Jessie has no idea who he was. She's super strong though and doesn't care what others think. She says she's gonna bring this light into the world, but I however feel like its not the right option due to her health. she is super skinny and has been losing weight. I am scared for her. J and Soph have tried to convince her to see other options but I understand why she wants this baby so bad. She is lonely, an orphan, and has no one to love her so she believes this will be the one thing that will love her.
