Chapter Twenty Five

TYLER'S P.O.V

"A DOUBLE DATE?! Are you insane?" Outside of the bedroom I hardly knew Jess at all, so little did I know this girl did things on impulse. Like tell the girl of my dreams and her boyfriend to go on a date with me and my ex fwb who is now my 'girlfriend'. Geez that's a mouth full.

"But did you see the look on her face when I suggested it?" She smirked.

"Yeah, it's the same look I had, horrified." I said with a sigh, facing forward, gazing at the road in front of me.

"No my hopelessly in love fake boyfriend, it wasn't just horrified. It was horrified mixed with a lot of jealousy." She said in that 'as a matter a fact' tone of hers.

I jerked my head in her direction. "Jealous?" I asked, maybe a bit more excitement laced in my voice than there should be.

She nodded. "Did you not see how she starred daggers at me? Dude she wanted to claw my eyes out of my skull."

"I was a little preoccupied doing all that lovey dovey shit to you to even notice." I said in a sour tone.

I may have enjoyed it at one point and I still might if Sawyer wasn't watching me. But having her standing there watching me suck the living daylights out of Jess's mouth and neck had my stomach in an untie able knot. Watching her doing that with Aiden is painful enough, I doubt that's how she felt when she saw me but I'm sure she was at least uncomfortable. I just hate the effect she has on me, and worst of all she doesn't even know it.

"You want her back don't you?" She asked.

When I didn't respond she grabbed my face with her hand so I was looking at her.

"Don't you?" she repeated.

I nodded.

"Okay then. All is fair in love and war my friend. Remember that." She said as she opened up the car door and stepped out.

"This Saturday. Six O'clock. Don't give her the option to say no, do you understand me?" She threatened.

I stared blankly at her, wondering if this was even a good idea, which not to deep down I knew the answer to.

"Ty this is going to work. TRUST me.

Text me when it's a done deal." She said and then walked away towards her apartment.

How the hell was I going to pull this off? Sawyer isn't shy with me, if she doesn't want to go, which I know she won't, she'll tell me. How am I meant to convince her? She listens to nobody but herself. Ironically, that's one of the many things I love about her.

Fuck I'm so whipped it's ridiculous.

The whole car ride home all I could focus on was getting Sawyer to go on this date with me, with us I mean. I suddenly realized I had completely neglected how this was all going to go down once we were actually on the date. What was even the point of this? It's not like I'm going to get to be alone with her.

Then again it's Jess I'm dealing with. Although this whole situation is revolved around me, I hardly know any of the plans and that worries me.

I finally pulled up into the drive way only to see mister perfect's car parked in MY space. God that asshole steals everything from me.

As I walked in, I heard the show Baby Daddy being played on the television and soon saw Sawyer, Hailey and Aiden sitting on the couch, in that order. Believe me when I say I was very happy to see Hailey sitting between them. I don't think I could take seeing them making out or cuddling on my couch. Again that's pretty ironic since I was just doing that to her a few hours ago but that's beside the point.
