Kelsey's pov

Derek disappeared that night, he just got up and left. No one really knew what happened to him after that. They all went home thinking he was just driving around until he claimed down, but he never came back and now two days later, everyone was starting to get worried, Kelsey, though have been worried since she saw the tears in his eyes, She knew something was wrong, he looked like he remembered something like he had this feeling of guilt and regret before for someone he loved.

Cora was in the middle of telling me and Stiles a story about how when Derek was younger, he was attacked by hunters when Peter saved him.

"They stayed in there for two days, hiding and healing." She told us they were in the nemoton

"That's what we are taught to do. Stay hidden when the hunters find us."

"Okay so is this a regular thing or a is he on an extended vacation?" Stiles said pacing around I sent him a glare.

"He wasn't like this when I met him. I-I don't know what happened to him."

"What was he like when you met him"

Soon they heard the sounds of Peters shoes clinging against the stairs.

"A lot like Scott actually, romantic, narcissistic. Only tolerable to other teenagers." He spoke. "He was changed by what changes most young men, a girl."

"So your telling me a girl broke his little heart and that's why he's the way he is?" Stiles said with sarcasm lacing his voice.

"Shut up Stiles! Give him a break. You don't know what the hell happened Leave it alone" kelsey glared at him as he looked at me his mouth open a little his eyes then turned icy and he sent the worst look her way.

"Do you know what changes the eyes form a shinning yellow to a blood blue. It's taking the life of an innocent. It takes a part of your soul away."

Peter then proceeded to tell the story of Young Derek and a living girl names Paige who Derek killed putting her out of her misery after her body rejected the bite. That's why his eyes are blue. He killed an innocent.

"Okay but I still don't understand when is he coming back" Stiles said. Kelsey shook her head.

"We don't know if he ever will. Killing Paige took a piece of him he will never get back until he finds that spark of love again." Cora looked at kelsey while Kelsey skit stared at Peter.

"So how long till he comes back" Stiles said.

"We.Don't.Know don't you get it?" Kelsey practically yelled at him.

"I'm sorry I just- I don't know what's going on with me lately I've been out of it since we got back I- uh I'm sorry" she said quickly while turning around.

She didn't know what was wrong with her. She can't sleep or eat. And Kelsey hated that Derek was away, Kelsey knows that's she likes him but it was crazy how much she missed him even though they aren't close at all. Kelsey just wants to not feel she is under a three hundred pound weight all the time making her feel weak and venerable.

"Hey, wait!" Kelsey heard Cora call from behind her.

"Yes?" Kelsey asked.

"I wanted to say that the thing about Derek needing to find that spark of love again is kind of crazy but I-I think that it's you." She breathed out. Kelsey just stood there shocked but she couldn't help but feel excited and happy.
