I raise my eyebrows at the amount of people in the front yard who are either talking like civilized people, or doing things that... aren't.

I open up the door of the car, and step out cautiously making not to step on anything classified as unpleasant. As soon as I make the all clear zone, the rest join me and head towards the front door.

See in this situation the polite thing would be to gently knock my fists against the door and wait for an answer then enter. But here, the door is open the widest it will go with people barged and squeezed in. The house is that packed and isn't even that small in size.

I look towards Carson, who looks almost nervous. I don't blame her though, from what I remember she was never really much of a party animal, but would rather stay snuggled up in a pair of sweat pants and watch a movie.

"Are you ok?" I ask, gesturing towards her.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just a little... you know." She says.

I give her a weak smile. "You'll have fun."

Next thing I knew we were all surrounded by the large or small sweaty bodies, that were almost suffocating me. I wouldn't be surprised if I died of some form of hypoxia tonight.

"Oh my gosh, is this for real." I say loudly so one of them could hear me.

No comment. From any one of them.

I look to my left, right, backwards forward and every other angle known to man. But apart from the strangers surround me, I see no one.

Bree, Carson and Lacey have all disappeared in the the blink of an eye.

For about ten minutes I push and try to get past all the people who are dancing in the living room, but every where I look I can not find one person that I came with.

"Lori?" A deep confused voice asked from behind me.

I quickly turn around to see a normal looking, undrunk Damien looking my way. Boy, have I never been more relieved than right now. I could just hug him.

"Hey Damien," What do I say. "Nice party." Just lie.

He smiles proudly. "Thanks, just wanted the holidays to have a good start for everyone."

"That's nice of you." I say. "But anyway have you seen any of the girls I came with."

"What you mean Peyton, Carson and all those?" He asks.

"Yeah... Sure let's just go with that." I say.

"Oh well I saw Peyton and that boyfriend of hers walking up the stairs and I think they are going to..." He starts

I quickly interrupt. "Yeah got the message between those two. The rest?"

"Well, I haven't actually seen the rest of them." He says.

"Oh, great." I say, a little disappointed.

"But," He smiles a little. "I can help you find them.

I furrow my eyebrows. "Thanks for the offer, but wouldn't you rather be 'dancing' with all your friends."

"I may pass on that, but I don't even know more than half the people here." He says.

"But, didn't you invite them?" I ask.

"Well the people who were invited, must have invited them. I guess some people just didn't get the memo about the old invitation." He says while looking around.

I laugh a bit. "Well then, I guess you could tag along."

"It will be my pleasure" He says in a posh voice.
