"What the fuck do you want, Duke?"
He's fucking found me again. Why can't he just leave me alone?

"I just come to the mall and see my girl just hoeing it up! What the fuck?"

"She's not your girl. So leave and we'll pretend this never happened."

Noah says stepping to Duke's face and so does Demain. Always protecting me,why can't I do things on my own?

" I got this guys I can handle myself on my own!"

I push past them and step up to Duke. I look him straight in the eyes and say.

"Look Duke I don't like you and I never will. Demain is my boyfriend. I like him not you. So leave me alone."

We stood there for a minute and Dukes face became angry. He just stared at me not moving because he knew if he touched me Demain and Noah would go off.

Duke looked at Noah and Demain, with that he left. But not before he can shoot me one less glare and walked away. After that we continue to eat her food and enjoyed our time at the mall. Demain Went back to his friends and me and Noah shopped for like 30 minutes. After that we went back to Noah's house and looked at the stuff we bought.

His mom was home and she had cooked some food but since we came from the mall and just ate we weren't hungry. After an hour of just sitting on the couch watching Netflix, we heard a knock at the door. Noah went to check and it was my sister and mom.
"Athena please come home. We are worried about you." Said my mom.

"How did you guys know I was here? Didn't you forget were Noah lived? And where is dad if you're so worried about me?" I'm tired of their bullshit. I'm tired of all of their bullshit. I can't wait till i leave for college. I won't need to see these people anymore.

"He's in the car. He drove us here." said my mom.

I looked around them and did in fact see my dad in the driver seat waiting. If he cared so much he would've gotten out the car and come asked me himself to come home. He's one of the main reasons i'm not at home.

"Unless you get dad to come and ask me, I don't want to hear it. You already proven your on his side with everything so why should I believe you." From being in front of the door for too long Noah has been standing behind me for quite some time without me noticing until he spoke.

"Hello, I don't think you remember me much." Said Noah. He reached his hand out toward my mom.

"Of course I remember you. How can I not remember the boy Athena spent most of her time with her whole life. How are you?" said mom. Noah invites her and my sister in.

Apparently I became invisible. I looked at my hands and was thinking, 'Nope i'm still here. These people are just ignoring me.'

I look at Noah and his mom talking to my mom, and he looks at me for a second. I shake my head no and go to his room. I grabbed my bag of clothes and the rest of my stuff. Until I feel him tap my shoulder.

"Athena what the hell? What's wrong?" He takes my bag from my hands and puts it on his bed.

"Well since you guys want to be buddy-buddy go ahead. But i'm not about to sit here and deal with this. Deal with them." I grab my bag again and continue to pack. Noah just stands there not saying anything or moving. I finished packing and was about to leave but Noah grabbed my arm.

"Athena you can't keep running from this." I shake off his grip.

"No I can't but I will deal with it when I can handle it." I walked out his room without another word. I walked through the living room hearing our moms talk and seeing my sister sit on the couch. I walked out the door and pass the car my dad was in. We stared at each other without saying a word.

I have a few dollars left so I decided to see how far the us could take me. I walked to nearest bus stop which was about a 10 minute walk out his neighborhood. I get on the bus then my phone started to blow up. It was texts and calls from Noah and my mom.

I don't feel like getting nagged from them so I put my phone on do not disturb and listen to some music to pass the time. It's getting late and i'm still riding on the bus. I decided to get off at a stop near the mall me and Noah went to earlier. I hadn't checked my phone and there were texts and calls from Noah, my mom, both my sisters, brother, some family, and Demain. I only responded to Demain, he was the only one wanted to talk too.

Demain- Where are u?

Demain-PLZ????

Demain- I need u to respond babe

Demain-Everyones worried I need u to be okay and tell me ur ok

Athena- I'm fine. I just took a bus ride somewhere. I needed to think.

Demain- Where are u i'll come pick you up

I didn't want him to come. I don't want him in this drama, but I want to be with him.

Athena-I'm at the mall we were at earlier, I'm in the cafe but they are closing soon.

Demain-Ok. I'm like 15 minutes away just stay there. I'll be there. I love you Babe.

Athena-I love you too babes, i'll wait.
