It's Monday again. I rather not go today. It has been a while since I skipped school. Should I? Yeah let's go. I get ready like I normally do but stop when it is time to get dressed.. I wanna rock my hipster look. I put on a black t-shirt with a plaid shirt. I put on my black jeans with my favorite red converse to match my plaid shirt. I look at my jewelry box and see my black choker staring back at me, fine you can come too. My mom was there and so was Iris.

"Good Morning." I go give my mom a kiss on the cheek and hug. "Can I get some money please?"

"Skipping school today?" How did she know?

"Yes." She grabbed her purse and gave me $50. What? Shouldn't you mom tell you to go to school.

"Here but no more skipping after today."

"You have a deal. Thank you and bye." I left and immediately went towards the train station. I plugged in my headphones and listened to some music. I took the bus knowing it'll be a long ass walk. I got to the train station and rode it downtown. I walked around not getting anything. Just admiring everything I see. I walked further down and had seen my favorite restaurant.

"Can't go in yet too early. Only enough money for my favorite meal." I whisper quietly seeing it was 8:38. Since there is 7 hours left in school let's find something exciting to do. I walked down to the park and saw some people roller skating and skateboarding. I go closer and they are killing it.

"Woah, hey girl. Wanna join?" Said a guy who caught me staring.

"No. I was just passing by, but thanks." He turns to his friend and I continue to watch.

"Why even ask her? That little pretty princess won't do shit."

'Pretty princess. I don't have time for this.' I walked away from the skaters and the park. I walked back near the stores and kept looking. A hour passed and I have tried on many clothes. I walked down to the corner and saw a bookstore. It's been a while since I've been here. I use to be down here so much all the employees knew me. I walked in and it's still the same. Same smell. Same set up. And some of the old staff. The manager is still the same.

I sat down near the comics and read some books. Time went by quickly and it was 12 already.

'Time for my favorite food ever.' I got up and walked back to the restaurant. I got a booth and the lady gives me the menu I don't look at it because I already know I'm getting the shrimp scampi. Then double chocolate cake for desert. They have the best shrimp scampi ever. They aren't a big restaurant and I'm so use to it that it taste like home to me.

I sit in the booth and order my food. I take out my phone.

'Damn I haven't been on it much.' I unlock it and no messages. That's not new but it's weird. No Jake, Amber, Noah or even Demain. Maybe they just busy today. I shrugged it off and text me, Amber and Jake's group chat.

I got off our chat and went to Noah's. There was already a message there from way earlier.

Well- Before he could finish I heard a voice that sounded a lot like Demain's. I look over and it was him and a girl i've never seen before.

He sent me a picture with a girl kissing Demain's cheek and hugging, the same girl with him now.

'What? When? Who?

I went straight to Demain's chat and texted him.

After that the lady came with my food. So I ate first. Cheat or not my food is life. I finished eating everything dessert included, I ordered a milkshake too. It was strawberry the worst flavor ever. Not for me though. For him and his clothes.

I told the lady to put everything on his tab too. My petty is high right now. I walked over to him and the girl. They were sitting right next to each other too. Really close.

"Oh hey Demain." As soon as he saw me he jumped away from her. "Oh did I interrupt something?" I said swing the milkshake back and forth in my hand.

"Babe, we were just talking." Talking really.

"Just talking? Okay so we lie now? Then why are you two so close to each other? I fucking dare you to lie again." He wasn't responding. Oh so now you must feel bad.

"Babe come on you're overreacting. We are just friends."

"I'M NOT RETARDED DEMAIN! AND DON'T FUCKING BABE ME! WE ARE FUCKING DONE." I threw the milkshake all on him and looked at the girl.

"You can have him girl, but he might just do the same thing to you. And Demain thanks for the meal." I put the cup down and walked out the store. I don't even know where i'm going. I just feel hurt. I tried to get across the street but then I felt someone grab my arm.

"Demain if you don't let go, i'll kick your balls so hard you won't be able to have kids." Then I snatched my shoulder away from him and turned to face him.

"Athena please, its just you are barley around and I wanted to--"

"OH SO I WASN'T ENOUGH? YOU NEEDED MORE HUH? FINE GO FUCKING HAVE HER." I tried to walk away but he still wouldn't let me.

"No, Athena please."

"You did this shit to yourself. Fucking leave me alone. We're done." I walked away. Just why? Know what fuck this.

I texted Jake and Amber again.

After school my house.

'Fuck today man, i'm going home.' I got on the bus to go home and listened to music the whole time. When the bus got close to my house I got off. I got home and went inside. Everyone wasn't home except my Coco.

"Coco." I cried. Mhm I didn't cry till now, wow. Nah I need to stop this shit. I'm not going to cry over no boy. I wipe my eyes and went up to my room with Coco. I took out my phone and there were hella phone calls and texts from Demain. Ewwww. I didn't read any still.

I turned off my phone and took a nap. I need to get my mind together. I changed into my favorite hoodie and shorts. Then I layed in bed with Coco,thinking wow I just got cheated on. Slowly falling into a restless sleep.
