Boys Are A Pain Pt. 2

When we got to her house we ate some food. I wasn't playing when I said i'll hug my pizza. I got a box and hugged it saying this is my new boyfriend. Then after eating the whole thing I said we decided to see other people.

Anyway, we went to that spot to take the pictures. It was really beautiful and the sun was perfect like Amber said.

"Okay so let's do individual pictures first then group." I said.

"I'll go first." Amber walked up and everyone immediately took out their phones. We need pictures from all angles. We took lots of pictures of just her in many positions. Me and Jake went next and finished. Then we took group photos. Looking like boss ass bitches. Then we took selfies with everyone. It was a lot of fun. Then I went home. When I got there though I saw Noah's and Demain's cars parked.

'Un-fucking-beliviable. You've got to be fucking kidding me.' I don't wanna go inside but I haven't been home all day. When I go to unlock the door I see Coco run up to me and she started barking.

"Coco shush." I tried to quiet her but it was to late.

"Hey Athena." Great.

"Hi Noah." This is so awkward. All the tension could be cut with a knife. I walk inside and I see Demain talking to my mom on the couch. My mom doesn't know anything that has happened between us three. She thinks me and Demain still go out. Also that Noah is trying to get with another girl.

"Hey mom." I walked over and gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek.

"Hi Demain." With that I went to my room with Coco. I heard footsteps behind me and didn't care. I closed my door right after Coco came in. Coincidently shutting it in Demain's face.

"Athena please talk to me." No response. "Come on, please." No response. "Please, princess." I shot up after he said that and yanked my door open.

"Never call me that again, Demain. You want to talk so badly fine, come on." I pushed past him and walked back to the living room. Noah was sitting on the couch and my mom was in the kitchen.

"Noah you come too." He gave me a questioning look but still came along. I lead them to the back yard and sat on the new bench swing my mom bought. Noah tried to sit next to me but I pushed him away so he sat in on of the chairs at the table we had out here and Demain just stood.

"Okay we are here now so talk Demain."

"Can we talk alone?"

"Let me think. No. You lost the privilege of that. Either talk now or text me." I crossed my legs and arms in the swing.

He sighed. "Fine. Athena just give me a second chance. I've already said sorry, just give me another chance. It won't happen again. I've missed you."

"Dude you cheated on her now you want her back." Noah jumped in.

"Noah, quiet. He gets to talk without interruptions and so will you." I turned back to Demain. " As for you Demain, I already told you that you can try to start over with me. Fix the mistake you made."

"Athena I know I fucked up, just forget it and let us get back together."

"See I just can't let that happen. I have a question though. Why? Why did you do it? You miss me now but while you were cheating i'm pretty sure you didn't think twice about me." He looked down away from me and I scoffed.

"Exactly. Now what's up Noah?" Me and Noah are good just in an awkward situation.

"I just came to talk and hang out. I don't want us to be different because of what happened." Noah why did you say that?

"What do you mean 'because of what happened'? Are you trying to get with Athena?" Demain held confusion and anger and sadness in his eyes.

"Yeah I am, but I'm not trying to force her to date me unlike someone. I want us to be cool, Athena." Aww Noah.

"Noah we will always be cool, and we can chill another day. I just wanted to come home and chill with family. As for you Demain, it isn't your business who is trying to get with me. Worry about yourself and stop trying to get the shortcut to get me back. Try like how you see Noah trying. Making sure we good as friends before adding a new relationship. Now I'm tired, Noah we'll chill tomorrow." I got off the swing and walked back through the house with them following. Demain right behind me then Noah next. When I opened the door to let them out Demain hugged me but I didn't hug him back.

"Please think about it."He whispered to me before leaving. Noah did the same thing but instead I did hug back. His hugs are some of the best.

"I'll see you tomorrow Athena." He whispered then walked away. While walking away he shouted.

"Food on me, so find something good to watch." I laughed and waved bye to him. When I got inside my mom was looking at me. I ran up to her and gave her a big hug and started to tear up.

"Please don't ask. I just want a hug." I squeezed her tighter and started to silently cry. When I pulled away she wiped my tears and brought me to the kitchen. She made some rice pudding. My favorite of favorite foods. It even beats pizza. She gave me a bowl and I ate. It took this much to realize boys really are a pain sometimes. No wonder some girls like girls.
