Forgotten Deal

Next day at school was cool until it was biology again. I completely forgot about the deal I made with Duke.Well at least we can get the work done without him just fawning over me every two seconds.

"Hey babe. Guess what?" Time for the bullshit to continue.

"I'm not your 'babe' Duke and what?"

"I finished the whole packet, so now that date I was promised." Like I'm gonna believe he finished that big packet in two days.

"Let me see." He gave it to me and I skimmed through. All the questions answered, not bullshit either good answers. "How did you finish this whole thing?"

"Well when it came to spending time with my girl I can do anything." I turned in the packet and the teacher was confused. She looked through and was shocked.

"Nice work you two." I nodded and went back to my seat.

"Not your girl and nice, thanks. So when did you want this quote-on-quote date?"

"Mhm, how about today?" That's so soon.

"That's not gonna happen my mom gonna say no."

"Then let's go to your house and hang." That also is gonna be a no. I'm not taking Duke to my house.Nope, nope, nope.

"How about another day?"

"Ask your mom and if she says no then i'll change the date."

"Well tomorrow is Saturday anyways, so how about that?"

"Your right, I'll just wait then. Since we have let's see an hour and some change left wanna discuss what we gonna do?"

"Sure I guess. I just want something chill and nothing fancy."

"Okay, I know where. Dress comfortable. Also give me your number so I can give you a time and you can give me your address."

"Fine, it's 495-648-1848. Wait are you gonna tell me where we're going?" He typed it in then I felt my phone vibrate.

Unknown- now you have my number babe

Eww. I think I just barfed a bit in my mouth.

"Nope, it's a surprise." We didn't talk much after that he went to talk to other people around the class. Then the bell rang. I got on my bus home and put in my music. I've spent too much time with people and I have to hang with Duke tomorrow. I need to mentally prepare.

I got home and saw my mom sitting on the couch. I went over and plopped down on her.

"Mommy." I faked cried. "I have to go on a date with this boy who I don't like since he did my work. What should I do?

"Tuffen up and go. It's a deal." MOM.

"Your not supposed to agree." I continued to fake cry.

"Calm down, just try to have fun. Call me if it gets too bad. When is it?"

"Tomorrow."

"Time?"

"I don't know yet, he didn't tell me." Then like magic I got a text from him.

D- be ready by 4, dress comfortable and what's your address?

"He said 4 mom."

"Okay and i'll help you out. Your curfew 9."

"Thank you mom."

Me- my mom said i have to be home by 9 and u got a car?

D- sure do so abby

Me- 458 old train rd

D-cool see u tomorrow babe

I officially give up on him.

Me- bye

Finally done with that. Time to mentally prepare for this. I laid on my bed and enjoyed the silence.

Timeskip to 3:30 Saturday.

'Almost done now, just need to fix my hair a bit.' I didn't take this serious. Just jeans, a shirt with mickey mouse on it, and red converse. Basically like i'm going to school.

"Where you going?" Iris asked passing my room. Iris has been quiet these past days what's going on.

"Just out with a friend, but why you so quiet? You normally never are."

"I'll tell you later. Oh and there's a boy waiting downstairs for you." That must be Duke.

"Okay, thanks." She walked off and I grabbed my phone and purse and went downstairs.

"Let's get this over shall we. Bye mom." I pushed Duke out the door and to his car. Which is a blue jeep. It looks so nice. He walked over to my side and let me in. I got in and put on my seatbelt. He gets in his seat and reached in the back. He pulled out some flowers.

"These are for you."

"You really going all out for this."The flowers were nice though.

"Yup." Then he started to drive off.

"Mind telling me where we are going."

"The fair." I've been there one time years ago. This'll be nice hopefully. He just better not get an idea of touching me. We got there and it was bright and loud. Duke paid for us and we went through the gate.

"Okay we can go on as many rides as we want. I'll pay for any games you might wanna play." This boy really tryna impress me.

"Thanks but I have money for that." We went on five rides then ate some food. I tried not to eat so much greasy foods but that is all there is. So pizza and lemonade, then a few fried oreos. After eating we played a few games and I won me a bear. Duke won nothing.

"I'm gonna go the restroom." He walked over to the porta potty and I stayed by the game we just played. All of a sudden I felt something cold pour on me. I turned around and it was Logan.

"WHAT THE FUCK LOGAN?" Everyone was looking at me and some started recording.

"Oh come on you already ice cold, this shouldn't be anything."

"YOUR SUCH A FUCKING ASSHOLE."

"Aww that's so nice." He walked off like nothing leaving me in my cold wet clothes and a wet bear. Good thing my phone was in my purse.Duke came to me and looked confused.

"Don't ask just take me home." He nodded and we walked to the car.

"I'm gonna get your seat wet."

"Wait let me check the trunk." He came back with a towel. "Luckily this was here." He put it on the seat and I thanked him. He drove me home and that was the end of that and it wasn't even 8 yet.

I walked through the house in my wet clothes to the laundry room. I put Brian in. AKA my teddy bear I just got. Then my shirt and jeans. I walked up to my room in only my underwear with my purse. My mom was going to ask but I stopped her.

"Don't ask." I went to take a hot shower and that ended my bad Saturday.
