PHAN: Suicidal

Yeah? Yeah.

"What's up with him?" Jess asked, innocently, making a face that implied she was confused by Dan's odd behaviour.

"I'm not sure" Phil replied, sadly, "D'you think I should ring him and check he's okay? I'm sure he's fine but I don't want him to be upset..."

"He looked alright, Phil, don't worry about him! Maybe he just grossed out by our cuteness" They giggled, "or maybe he just went to visit someone. If he needed you or me, he would've said, and if he does, he can call. There's no need to panic." She replied, in a calm, soothing tone, that she'd hope would make Phil feel better. It did.

"Okay." He muttered, pulling her into a hug before pushing off of the sofa. "I'm off for a shower" He kissed her on the nose before walking away.

"Can I come?" She called after him.

"If you must..." He joked back.

Dan had arrive at Chris's flat around an hour ago, he hadn't said much since he'd been there, he'd mainly just been sulking around. He knew something was up.

"I've invited Peej round too, I thought maybe the four of us could do something?" Chris called from the kitchen to the dining room.

"Four?" Dan questioned, a sad but hopeful look spread across his face.

"Phil not coming to join us later?" Chris replied, walking into the room. Upon seeing Dan's face, his question was answered. "What's up with you, both of you?" He asked, concerned for his friends.

"Nothing." Dan answered, unconvincingly.

"A whole lot of nothing by the looks of it..." Then it hit him, "THAT JESS GIRL!" He shouted, a little too loudly."

"Yeah?" Dan retorted, as both an answer and a question.

"Yeah." Chris repeated, realising Dan wouldn't wanna talk about it now.

They got out the shower, joking about, drying each other's hair, and so on. Phil was happy for the first time in a long time, except, there was something that was keeping his from being completely happy; a little something at the back of his mind that kept niggling and working its way into his thoughts. He wasn't sure what it was, yet, but it kept bothering. He tried to stay focused on his happiness, and Jess; the moment he was in right now, but he kept getting distracting by the something that kept mentally nudging him away from it all.
