Warning

Dan woke up and felt that his mouth was very dry. He just stared at the ceiling. He had gone to bed earlier as he thought that there was no point in staying up just watching Phil and Jess fool around in front of the camera. He thought about making a video but the thought of editing make him feel sick. He would never edit unless he absolutely had to.

Eventually, when he couldn't get back to sleep, he got up and made his way to the kitchen. He smashed his face against the kitchen glass door. He quickly aided it by swearing, "Fucking hell Dan" to himself, while putting his hand to his face.

He looked back at the glass door and saw a red smudge in the misshapen form of a lip print. The same shade of red that he saw when he got out of the shower earlier. What the hell is it. He wiped it off quickly and moved the door so he could slip through. He rinsed out a glass that he had used earlier that night and just put water in it. He gulped down the liquid and then slammed the glass onto the counter. He leaned over the sink and just began to think. But not about anything in particular, just life. He seemed to be in a drunk state, but he wasn't drunk, just incredibly tired.

Dan coughed and headed for the door again but he was stopped in his tracks. A small figure was standing in the way. Jess. "Jess, are you okay? What are you doing up?" Dan said still trying to make out where she was. Jess stood forward and just stood there. She looked like she hadn't even gone to sleep at all. Her face was hi-lighted and her eyes piercing.

"Didn't you think the first warning was enough, Dan?" Jess said, while rubbing her finger tips along her other hand. A red stain was imprinted into her fingers.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Dan spat, staring at Jess' fingers.

"Stay away from Phil, he is mine... not yet, but he will be soon." Jess sniggered, looking through her eye lashes at Dan with a half smirk.

"I don't know what the fuck you are talking about, Jess, but I think you should leave in the morning. We were trying to do a good thing by helping you, but there is no saving you now." Dan walked past her and into the dark hallway.

"I mean it Dan, it wont just be your lips that are red next time." Dan smirked at the euphemism but Jess realised what she just said.

"I may have to harm you if you don't take me seriously Dan, and I will. I'm not scared. I harmed myself for a while, remember? How easy would it be for me to hurt you?" Dan's face dropped, the colour ran out, he turned the light off and walked to his room.

Jess remained in the kitchen watching Dan as he walked away, he knew she was still there. He could feel it.
