«Jake's POV»
2 year later.

"But doesn't this-Jake!"Amy snapped her finger in front of me."Are you day dreaming?"She ask,clearly a little mad."Huh?Yeah."I snap out of my trance."Oh sorry.You were saying?"I asked."Forget about it,what were you day dreaming about?"She grabbed my hand and brought us into the seats of the briefing room."Nothing.."I didn't want to leak anything."Cut the crap Peralta."She rolled her eyes."Ugh fine."I said,i pulled out a small velvet box from my jacket.

"You're gonna what?!"Amy yelled,a little to loud till Terry came running in."What's going on?"He ask,with worry in his tone.Terry eye's gaze stop at the little small box I held."Wait.Are you?"He came toward us."Yes,I'm going to propose to Mia."Both their faces lit up and questions came running in.

"Where are you going to do it?"
"When will the wedding be?"
"Do you think she'll say yes?"

Ouch,the last question struck me hard.I never really thought about it ya know?God I hope she'll say yes,I'll be devastated if she says no.

My gaze falls to the floor."See Amy.He's sad now!"Terry scolded."Sorry.."Amy spoke."Look Jake,if you think she's the one,go for it.She loves you Jake.How I know?Well she'll come here on her day off just to drop off home cooked lunch with your favourite drink,coke.She'll be ready to pick you up every day after work.She's a really understanding women Jake.If you don't marry her,than you just lost a great kick-ass women."He place a hand on my back and patted it.I smiled and look up to him."Thanks I guess.I really hope she says yes."I said."I know she will."Amy comforted."Now can we get back to the case."I stood up and walked to the board where pictures was pinned on along with a map."I see you guys later."Terry wave and left the room.

"Bye Charles!"I waved off as I got into my old sweet Mustang.Mia had to work late since the company had some issues to fix.I didn't mind though,gave me extra time to plan it out.I started up the engine and drove off to our apartment.It was fairly close to wear I worked,not that I'm complaining.

I turn the key and open the door.I step inside and hung my coat on the little mini wardrobe I got for me and Mia.I went into our kitchen which was painted black to Mia's liking and had a nice island in the middle.I decided to cook some seafood baked rice with extra cheese,Mia's favourite,and with some red wine.I wasn't a great chef but I know how to cook.

{A little time skip}
I just got the rice out of the oven and sat it on the island.I pour the wine into wine glasses.Just in time,the door bell rang.

I open the door to see my beautiful girlfriend."Hey Mia."I kissed her cheek and let her in.She hung her coat like I did and walked towards the kitchen."Wow what's the occasion?"She ask,before turning her head behind to see me.Bending down in one knee,holding the small velvet box with a ring.It has little diamonds on it.

"Mia Chavez I love the fuck out of you.I love how you didn't hesitate to bring me lunch on your day off even how many times I told you it's fine.I love your personality.If your smile was a electricity,the whole globe would lit up.I been with you for 3 years already,and I love every damn minute.I knew I wanted to marry you since 2 year ago but I wanted to plan this out, perfectly.I knew I wanted to marry you when you convince me to go with you to a Shawn Mendes concert.I remembered how you stayed up all night waiting for the tickets to be released and how you screamed when you got ahold of 2 front row tickets.You ended up also getting a backstage pass since I convince you too.I guess all I have to say is,
will you do the honours of marrying me and being Mrs Mia Peralta?"

She had tears streaming down her cheeks as she nodded furiously.I smiled and got up.I slid the ring onto her finger and kissed her.

She was officially my fiancé.
my soon-to-be wife.

*wipe tears.*my babys are finally engaged.I feel like a proud mom.The story has 6 chapters left but it could be lesser!yikes.Should I make a sequel?I don't know.You'll find out I guess🙈
