(REST IN PARADISE LUKE PERRY)
I look for the Black Hood for a couple of seconds before racing off to The House of The Dead, my mother pays me and slips in a couple hundred.
"I know FP wouldn't be too happy about this job, but I know your a teenager and you love buying things. So, I'm giving you a little more." She told me as I put the money in my jacket pocket.
"Thanks, Mom." I said as she smiled.
"No problem, Jay." She responds.
Walking outside I text Jughead back, he said that he was going to take his plan to find the Black Hood to the next level. I just told him to do whatever.
I rode my bike to the spot. The spot was a place that Malachai and I ran to, to talk. It was the highest point. The view was amazing, that's why we never told anyone about our spot.
Hands covered my eyes as I smiled, "Guess who?" The voice said.
"Mal." I said.
I turned around, admiring his face. I love Chuck, but I'll always have something for Malachai.
The moon light shone down on us, the only light that graced upon our faces.
"I'm sorry for being bitchy the other day." I admit.
Malachai smirks.
My cheeks turned red, it was the thing that he do to impress me. Make me blush just to see my silly smile that was included in it.
"It's fine, I forgive you. I was drunk." He said.
"I know how you feel about Chuck. I love you, Mal, but sometimes you worry about me too much." I said.
He walked towards me until he was right in front of my face. He looked down on me since I was shorter than him.
He used one of his fingers to lift my head up, I looked into his eyes.
"I will always worry about you. Not only your the snake charmers daughter. But your the girl I love." He said.
I gave him a small smile, he tucked some of my hair behind my ear. He kissed my forehead and everything reminded me of the past.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"You remember when we first started dating and we would hide here and think about the future?" I ask.
A smile appeared on Malachai's face.
"Yes, and how our future daughter would be named Seren," he said.
My cheeks turned bright red.
Seren. The name rolls off the tongue.
Malachai chose it, because it reminds him of Stars. My favorite thing in the whole world is to look at the stars.
He must've seen the temptation in my eyes, because he leaned down and kissed my lips, soft. They taste like alcohol mixed with other drugs. But I liked it.
It's like if you were in a love triangle but broken at the seems when you found the one that you want to go with.
"If I were to die, Jay, I want my right hand man to help with our future children." Malachai said.
"Okay. I will make sure your legacy don't go to shit." I said.
He chuckled, "I know you won't let it. Because your my secret Queen." He states.
The secret queen.
"Queen?" I question, cocking my head to the side.
He leans in until he brush little hairs away from my eyes.
"What I mean is, would you want to be the secret Ghoulie Queen?" He asked.
I couldn't resist anymore, I gave him a kiss on the lips before answering.
"Of course I would, Chaos King." I whisper, like someone would sneak up on us and tell the Serpents about our plan or something. There were always chances of a spy.
He got something out of his vest pocket. A sliver necklace chain.
Walking behind me, I held up my hair as he draped the chain around my neck. At the center of the chain was a charm that looked like a skull.
"Hide this when your by them." He whispers into my ear before kissing my neck once and leaving me alone.
~~~~~~
Malachai's gaze went to the necklace he gave me a long time ago.
"You kept it." He said with a soft voice
"I did because it reminds me of us." I said, giving him a small smile.
"Oh really?" He smirks
"Don't you dare." I said as Malachai walked closer to me.
He leaned in and pecked my lips
"Just leaving my mark." He whispered. smirking as he pulled away.
"I'm doing drug runs. For my mom. I passed all the trials and crap." I said.
Malachai stared at me and for a few seconds I thought he was going to freak. But he didn't.
"Ok. But becareful. Because everyone needs the princess alive." He said.
I nodded, "Stay out of trouble." I said.
"I'll try." He reassured.
"You better." I remarked. Looking straight in his eyes. "Or else."
I started to walk away when Malachai started speaking again.
"Or what, Jay?" He asks as he smirked.
"You'll see." I said, turning back around and walking away.
I called Toni after Verne helped me with my bike, I took it to the auto shop to get cleaned and checked out.
"Hey, J." She said.
"I thought I call to see what's up. I haven't seen Cheryl around, have you seen her around?" I ask.
I walked through the trailer, entering my room. I laid on my bed.
"No, I haven't seen her. Not in a long while. Jay, I'm worried something happened." Toni's voice was laced with concern.
"Okay, well, do you know where you last saw her? Maybe we can make a list." I said.
"I saw her at the sleepover that Veronica, Betty, and I were invited to at her house. Something happened to Nana Rose, fortunately, she's okay. But since then, no." She answered.
"Let's do this, we can ask Veronica tomorrow if she seen her, if not then we will launch a investigation. Call me if you know anything." I said.
"Okay, Bye."
"Bye."
After a while of looking at the Polaroids on my wall, I fell asleep listening to crickets outside.
