I wanted her to stop killing me. My arms wrapped around her and she let me hug her.
She didn't try to resist it.
"Please stop. I'm a married woman." She said not trying to break free.
"I don't care. I love you and I know you still have feelings for me too."
She kept quiet and I could feel her breathing heavily.
"Sahal let go of me."
I didnt, it was not possible for me to let go. No.
"You love me too right?" I asked, holding her as tight as I could.
"Sahal please."
"Afeerah, just tell me. Do you love me or dont you?" If she said she didnt it was over. My world would be nothing but ashes. Ashes of pain.
"Tell me." I repeated when her silence wanted to kill me.
"N..Yes...No...Sahal I'm married."
"I didnt ask if you were married. I asked if you loved me or not."
"Not now. Sahal I'm pregnant I cant breathe." When these words left her mouth, I quickly let her go but she left the room in a hurry before I could say something.
