Night RM

Arshi went to the kitchen to get water, she walked past Aarav's room but stopped in her tracks as she was fighting with her mind and her heart, whether to go inside or not. Finally her heart won and she went inside.

Arshi entered his room and the scene in front of her shattered her more, if that was possible.
That memory always tends to haunt her. She being the cause of her brother not being present with the family. She being the cause that he is breathing but through cables attached to him. If only she had listened dammit... Things would of been different... If only...

She gained some courage and walked closer to his bed, where he was lying lifeless, despite breathing. She sat down and took his hand in hers. She noticed how pale his skin has become.

Arshi : Bhaiya, kya aap mujhse naraaz hai?! Hona bhi toh chaiye, kyun ki sab naraaz hai mujhse. Lekin agar aap naraaz ho, toh hum bhi naraaz hai aap se! Jaanti hai kyun?! Kyun ki aap bahaut zid ho isliye. Do saal bheet gayi bhaiya aur abhi tak aap so rahi hai, yeh kya baat hue?! Ase karta kohi?! Jab aap utegi na, toh pure ek hafte se, baat nahi karungi.
Yaad hai bhaiya, jab mein London gayi thi meri studies ke liye. Do hafte poori nahi hue, aur aap aur Ayaksh bhai foreign meri paas aagayi thi, ke rahi thi kohi business deal hai isliye London aagaya. Lekin sach toh yeh hai ki aap dono mujhe miss kariye thi. Wapas  ajau bhai, sab tumhare bina adhure hai. Hum bhi. I really miss you. I really really miss you. ( She kissed his hands.) [ Bhaiya are you angry at me? Well you should be, because everyone else is. But if you are angry, than I'm also angry at you. Do you know why? Because you're very stubborn. Two years have passed and you're still sleeping, what is this?! Does anyone do this?? When you wake up, I won't talk to you for an entire week. Do you remember bhai when I went to London to complete my studies... Two weeks didn't even pass and you and Ayaksh bhai came to London saying that you'll came to sign a business deal but the truth is you'll came because you'll were missing me. Come back bhai, everyone is incomplete without you, me too.]

She didn't realize when the tears started rolling down, if she did she would of noticed a pair of hazel eyes watching over her.

Khushi took small steps towards Arshi and places her hand over her shoulder.

Arshi : Ma aap yaha?! ( ma you're here?) Is everything alright? Are you okay??

Arshi turns away to wipe her tears so that she doesn't feel vulnerable in front of her mother.

Khushi (mind) : She's so much like her father, they try so hard to conceal their feelings but they forget that they can't lie nor can their hide their emotions in front me.

Khushi : I should be asking you that question! Tum yaha kya kar rahi ho?( what are you doing here?)
Arshi : Voh... Mein... Hum... I mean I came here for water.
Khushi : You came here for water?!
Arshi : Nahi yaha nahi ( no not here.) Ma bahaut raat ho chuki mein sone ke liye ja rahi hoon. Aur aap bhi so jaaye, aapki sehet ke liye aachi nahi. Aur aap jaanti hai, dad aapne haat pakarne ki begeer nahi soti. ( Ma it's late and I'm going to sleep. And so should you as well. It's not good for your health. And you know dad doesn't sleep without holding your hand.)

She conveniently escapes the situation not wanting to answer her mother's questions.

Khushi : Are you the same Arshi who used to share every little thing with me? Who couldn't conceal anything? Have you changed so much in these 2 years?
