"Open your mouth more, Andy." I do as I'm told, opening my mouth wider, so my dad can fit this metal tooth pick and mirror in my mouth.
I hate getting my teeth checked.
He scrapes at my teeth, creating an annoying grinding noise.
I told my teachers and Simon that I had to leave early for an appointment. Cecil didn't come get me this morning, so I walked to school. I know I could of called Simon, and at least tell him that I ddin't have a ride this morning, but he's been generous enough. Walking gave me time to think about what Mandy said.
She hates me?
I must say that is a pretty strong word, but I guess it's fine to use when you mean it 100%.
I don't even understand why she'd hate me. Aren't twins supposed to be inseparable, completely depending and loving their other half? I know this could be false, but I never heard of twins hating each other. Sure there's arguments and such, but usually they'd get over it.
I have cousin's on my dad side who are twins, they get along just fine.
Maybe it's a fraternal twin thing, hating one or the other. Don't know.
It could also be a Mandy thing.
I assume being called names and having assumptions that you sleep around, could make you take your anger on someone.
That someone being your Twink of a Nancy Boy, as Mandy may call me.
"Bite." I take a mouthful of some grape flavored foam bar, instantly squeezing out the froth.
I want to throw up so badly.
I grumble, my dad looking to me with no remorse.
"It's almost done Andy. I don't understand why you haven't gotten used to this. I've done it twice a year for 17 years, son."
Dad continues finishing up cleaning my teeth, not taking notice to his slip up.
After this many years, he still believes I'm his little boy. He needs to get over it at some point.
"All done, Andy." I get up from laying down, feeling lightheaded from the smell in here. " I'll call the school saying I'm taking you home, okay? I have to be right back here after I drop you off. Your mother went to her firm earlier."
I nod, walking off, out of the room, waiting outside by his car to come.

"Should have told me you were going home after, I would have ditched." Simon shares, his voice emitting through the phone into my room.
My dad dropped me off earlier, and I was doing homework when Simon called.
I put him on speaker. It's cool I can do that. I could easily do it on the house phone, but my mom doesn't like the staticky noise at the end of every word.
Says it interferes with 'Love & Hip-Hop'.
I don't get her sometimes.
"Why, I thought you loved school? Especially the soccer part." I joke, Simon not responding back. "Hello, Simon?"
Did I hang up with him?
I sit up on my bed, turning my phone screen on to check. The minutes are adding, so no.
"It's no fun when you're not there. Especially the soccer part." He retorts, making sure I hear the pout in his voice.
He's so cute!
"Oh, I didn't realize that."
Should I have figured that or hoped that he would say something along those lines?
