The Rift

Sanyukta stood unmoving ,watching sanaya’s disheartened face staring back at her.

“sanaya mai...”

“bas Sanyukta,aur nahi.mujhe jo sunna tha vo maine sun liya.khud ko justify karne ki koi jarurat ni hai.”

Sanaya said bitterly, taking two steps back.

“bachpan se mere dad mujhse zyada tumse pyar karte hain,per mujhe kabhi iss baat ka bura ni laga.

Vo mujhe hamesha advice karte the beta sanyukta jaise bano,sanyukta bahut matured hai en all ,aur aaj jab unhe pata  chalega ki tumhari thinking kaisi hai unko leke to hi don’t know vo kaise react karenge.

Tumhe meri family se itni problem thi toh pehle bol deti,aaj tak friendship ka natak kyun kiya.?”

“nahi sanaya tum galat samajh rahi ho,mera vo matlab nahi....”

“oh haan.galat toh hamesha mai hi samajhti hun,tum toh sabse perfect ho,koi galti ni hoti tumse hai  na.?”

Sanaya mocked ,interrupting her in between.

“you know what ?sahi kehte college me sab,sanyukta ke bina meri koi identity hi nahi hai meri.sanyukta jo kehti hai mai usse sach maan leti hun bewakoof ki tarah,toh mere sath aesa hona hi chahiye tha.”

Sanyukta shook her head at sanaya’s negative words and took quick steps towards her ,but she took another step back away from her.

“save it sanyukta.apni jhuthi explanation,jhutha concern kisi aur ko dikhana,cause i’m not your friend anymore.”

“sanaya tu kya bol rahi hai? Tujhe sachai pata ni hai,ye sab Randhir ka trick tha hamari friendship todne ke liye.”

Sanyukta looked at her expectantly,but sanaya seemed far away interested  in listening to her.

“really sanyukta? Now you are blaming him? Aur tumhe lagta hai  mai ye sab believe karungi?

I was a fool to think he was bad just because of your enmity with him,but the fact is he is far better than you sanyukta.

Atleast usne apni bestfriend ke pichhe toh ni bola,uske dad ko humiliate ni kiya.”

Sanaya shouted at the top of her pitch,making sanyukta sigh.

“sanaya i can explain.bas ek baar meri baat sunlo.”

“it’s over sanyukta.it’s over. Tumhari jaise ladki ke sath mai koi relation ni rakhna chahti.”

Sanaya stormed out of the classroom ,while sanyuktya urged to follow her but stopped on realising something.

She turned around with a hard glare at Randhir,who was standing silently till now enjoying the drama en suddenly he smirked.

She took long steps towards him clenching her jaw ,then held him by his collar.

“ye sab tumhari wajah se hua hai.bataya kyun ni ki vo pichhe khadi thi.?”

“bata deta toh vo tumhari asli intentions kaise jaan paati.?”

He raised his brow,calmly looking at her.

“intentions ki baat tum na hi karo toh achha hai.tumhari ghatiya  intentions mai sunnke arahi hun tumhari bimbo Ishika ke muh se.”

She gritted her teeth.

“pata hai kya? Ye scene thoda unexpected tha per faida mera hi hua.atleast tumhar jaisi fake friend se toh sanaya ka pichha chhuta.

Now please excuse me ,i have to go and console a very pretty girl who is currently upset.”
