Enemy's Marriage

Randhir continued coughing uncontrollably  ,when jiggy rushed to get water for him.

“paaji paani pee lo.”

Yoyo rubbed his back,en forwarded the full glass of water to him which he gulped down his throat in a go.

“what the fuck.?”

He looked up to yoyo ,his eyes widened to an extent and shock clearly visible on his face.

“mujhe bhi aaj hi pata chala.

Vo kaustuki ji bol rahin thi principal ne jo unke ghar me inform kiya tha na,uski wajah ho rahi hai shadi.

Unke ghar me nahi chahte ki vo  aur padhai kare.”

Yoyo mumbled in a  low voice,almost as if he felt bad for her .

“aur Agarwal maan gayi.?”

Randhir questioned in disbelief.

“umm haan.unke pass option kya hai? Ghar wale force karenge toh maan na hi padega na.”

“iska matlab sanyukta already college chhod chuki hai? 4 dino se.?”

Sail murmured to himself.

“arey nahi chhoda nahi hai abhi tak.

Vo toh unhe jaldi jaldi bula liya gaya hai,baaki college toh vo sayad shadi ke baad hi chhodne ayengi.”

Yoyo replied.

Randhir leaned back on the chair registering yoyo’s  each and every word ,when jiggy spoke up.

“Randhir bhai,iss baar kuch zyada nahi ho gaya? Matlab uski padhai chhut gayi ,aur hum sabko pata hai vo apni padhai ko leke kitna passionate hai.upar se shadi.”

Others kept mum silently agreeing to him but didn’t voice it out not to make Randhir feel bad,whereas Randhir noticed their faces.

“kya? Maine toh sirf principal ko inform kiya tha,mujhe thodi pata tha uske gharwale shadi karwa denge?

Wese bhi vo har waqt na na karti rehti hai,ek chiz manne ke liye 1 ghanta sochti rehti hai,aur dekho shadi ke liye itni jaldi haan bolke aagayi.isme  meri kya galti.?”

Randhir defended himself.

“ye bhi sahi hai paaji.

Chhodo,unki shadi hai unki marzi isme hum kya kar sakte hain?

Bas kaustuki ji bahut upset hain ,per vo jaa rahin hai kal shadi me.”

Yoyo sighed.

“yoyo,kaustuki  ke muh se Agarwal ka address nikal ke la,hum bhi jaa rahe hain shadi me.”

Randhir declared ,causing  others to gasp.

“kya.?”

“kya.? Meri wajah se shadi ho rahi hai,mera jaana banta hai ya nahi? Toh kya hua agarwal ne mujhe invite ni kiya ,ek lauti dushman hai ‘good luck’ toh bolke hi aaunga.

Tum logon ko nahi jaana hai toh mat jao.”

Randhir shrugged coolly.

“nahi paaji aap jaa rahe ho toh hum kyun yahan ruke ,hum bhi aate hain aapke sath.”

Yoyo piped in with a grin.

“good then ,address  milte hi message kar dena.”

He gobbled few fries inside his mouth,got up from his seat and left the cafeteria ,with his mind still hovering over yoyo’s words.

‘sach me shadi kar rahi hai kya? Dekhna toh padega.’

‘wese achha hi hai musibat jayegi.’
