Ups and downs (Second last)

"Kya.? "

Sanyukta looked up to Randhir in surprise, who either hadn't realized what he just called her or found it amusing to act nonchalant in front of her.

"Kya.? "

He asked back raising his brow.

"tum Kya.. Mera naam sanyukta hai. "

She chirped in a duh tone.

"shadi ke liye dekhne thodi aya hun jo naam bol rahi ho.?

Mujhe pata hai tumhara naam... Baby hai. "

He smirked making her frown, but it disappeared the next moment as he leaned over her dipping his head in the crook of her neck yet again.

Sanyukta closed her eyes feeling his lips touching her skin ,but snapped her eyes open on hearing his next words.

"achha tum uss din Kuch keh rahi thi,phirse bolo. "

"huh Kya.? "

"Wohi jo uss din bol rahi thi behosh hone se pehle. "

As soon as Randhir finished his line, Sanyukta stilled for a moment.

huh? Mujhe yaad nahi hai.”

She lied murmuring in a low voice.

“yaad nahi hai.?”

He repeated still not looking up to her.

“nahi.”

“okay.”

Sanyukta released the breathe she was holding feeling him dropping the topix and looking up to her as well.

“mai actually ye bolne aya tha ki evening ko ready hoke mujhe parking lot me milna.”

“kyun.?”

Her forehead creased confusingly.

“abhi agar batana hota toh evening ko milne ke liye thodi bolta .”

He rolled his eyes.

“haan per batao toh kya karna hai? Kahin jaana hai.?”

“wese toh blne ki jarurat ni hai still,dress nicely.”

He chirped ignoring her last question.

“arey per batao ..”

She paused watching him already starting to leave the topic ,but suddenly he stopped noticing the packet on the   study table kept by kaustuki earlier.

“ye kya hai.?”

Murmuring to self he looked in to the packet only to find pav bhaji inside it,then turned to face sanyukta with a glare.

“ye tum khane wale thi.?”

Sanyukta shook her head as a big no ,but from his facial expressions it was quite clear he wasn’t convinced by her lie.

“toh kaustuki ne tumhe promise kiya tha aaj pav bhaji khilane ke liye specially jo sab doctor ne tumhe medicine chalne tak khane se mana kiya hai.”

Randhir chirped straight ,still glaring her.

“mai thoda sa hi khati.”

She mumbled slowly.

Randhir shot her another glare before proceeding to leave the room taking the packet along with him.

“a eek min .. kahan jaa rahe ho usse leke.”

Sanyukta ran up to him trying to snatch the packet from him,but he was  fast enough to keep it out of her reach.

“kya.?”
