Chapter 30 - What's Next?

Rachel and Caleb stopped every now and then in their tracks before closing upon them. Rachel took a glace at Caleb occasionally. The guilt was at her top most level when she saw the faces of her friends.

She let out a small smile when she met her eyes with Lin's. Lin gave a small nod.

Alex was furious at the sight of them. He could practically kill them in one blow. Alma was holding on to him keeping him calm.

"We did not come to harm any of you" Caleb said as they closed in the distance. They all starred into the each other.

Alex smirked.

"I will let you live if you disappear right now" Alex said in a low voice clenching his fist.

"We are sorry about what happened... But we came to warn you"

They all looked into each other.

"About ?" Seth inquired sternly.

Caleb quite didn't know where to start or end . He had to explain so much to them.

"My father has got to know that Alex is still alive. I wanted to keep the impression of him dead in my dad's mind but somehow he has got to know a..n..." 

You are the one who tried to kill me you moron" Alex interrupted.

"Wrong start" he thought".  

"I know. But if I ever wanted to kill you I would have shot you in your heart. I never miss Alex. I didn't want to kill you , though those were my dad's orders',  that's why I shot you in your arm. I had to complete my mission, So I took the seal without taking your life. I do not approve my fathers actions. He is too obsessed for power and has forgotten humanity. I did not realize it  until I got the seal from you....... then I changed my ways.....That's why we came to warn you."

" We are not stopping this at any cost. doing nothing will not do any good.. It has already given power to some sea monsters. It will only get worse, if we do not stop it on time" Seth responded.

"There is a sea creature already in this sea how is it different?" Alex questioned.

"He is nothing compared to what's rising" Seth said in a low tone.

"What are they then?" Questioned Caleb.

"Dragons"

Everyone was shocked by this sudden discovery of the creatures that can come to life.

"Aren't they extinct? " Alma asked in a small voice.

"They live in a different dimension from ours. The seal is the key to their world. They roam freely in their worlds but the possessor of the seal can easily open the portal between their world and ours and get them down under his control. It sounds old fashion but dragons are powerful enough to outrun any army on earth..... So we cannot let him have that seal."

Seth said with a stern remark.

"How do you know all this?" Alma was amazed about his knowledge.

" When I mastered water bending Mr.Ronan taught me the history of all our tribes and the seal"

"So what does that has to do with his father?" Alex questioned.

" He wants to become the supreme ruler for the world"

Caleb responded looking down.

"Then why did you help him get the seal!!!!!!" shouted Alex.

Anger rose ferociously in Alex.

Before Caleb could think twice, he leaped forward grabbing Caleb's collar by one hand and prepared to punch in his face from his free fist. Caleb struggled to get his hand out of his shirt. He didn't want to hit Alex. He knew he was at fault. Rachel moved close to them but before she could do anything Seth intervened. he got a hold of Alex's hand and removed it from Caleb's shirt. He pushed Seth away and walked towards the sea.
