"Where am I?.. what happened?" her weak senses wondered. Her mind was vague and blur so was her vision. She could see a rocky roof on top of her  "how long was I out?", her mind was rushing through many questions  she tried to remember what happened to her,  then the memories flooded into her. her injury and how she got better and more than that who treated her. "Caleb " unlike before her senses craved to see him  "Is he with me?" . An agonizing pain was building in her back after laying down for so long. She wanted to sit up but her injury was bad, she could feel a heavy pain down her right arm. She raised her head a bit trying to balance from her elbows but her injured arm failed to support her.

Her head fell behind she squeezed her eyes shut but pair of hands caught her head , gentle fingers glided through her hair and gently placed her down. She opened her eyes and found  Caleb smiling  widely at her, she could see his face upside down, he was starring at her from behind.

"You might want to save your head  for future" Caleb insists with a laugh.

Rachel giggled. He moved to the side of hers.

"How are you now?"

Rachel could feel a great pain on her hand but not as much as the time she got shot,  her whole body aches and feels weak.

"I don't feel comfortable Caleb my back aches"

Caleb could help her with it but she cannot sit up on her own. Rachel could see from his eyes that he was considering something unable to express it to her.

"What do you have in mind Caleb?"

Caleb gulped down what formed in his throat. She  wondered at him unable to figure out his expression.

He looked into her eyes she felt her whole existence getting absorbed into him.He slowly bent down towards her making her eyes widen but words did not come out of her.   His stomach tuned and twitch , he could feel his heart racing. , his face was a few inches away from hers now, he controlled the urge to kiss her , He could see small tints of red appearing on her cheeks.

"Alright now place your left hand around my neck " he almost said it in a whisper , Caleb half expected her to scold him or refuse his help but surprisingly she followed his instructions.

"Hold on tight and lean a bit towards me so that I can put my arm behind you. Try not to move your injured arm." he could feel her hand tightening around his neck making his heart race even more then gently her weight transferred to him allowing him to slip his arm behind her. She winced at the slightest movement of her injured muscles however he pain was feeling at a distance with him being so close to her.  Rachel felt her skin becoming hot against his, she felt the warmth in him, it was soothing she deeply inhaled his scent her mind is now shifting she felt home in him , they were almost hugging now he gently rested her head on to his chest. She could feel the tight muscles through his shirt and his raced heart beat. He gently held on to her injured arm not allowing it to move. He gently pulled her up perfectly balancing her on him and placed her back to the wall of the cave and she shifted her legs to the front adjusting her sitting position. He removed his hands and moved away. Rachel wished she could be with him like that for a little longer. She could now see him properly. His hair was a mess altogether ,eyes were red and puffy and tired and his shirt stained with red. "Red stains? is that blood from my wound? "

"What's wrong? Are you comfortable now?" Rachel was drawn back from her thoughts.

"Yes I am much better now . Thanks for everything" She said with a small smile.

He nodded his head.

"You don't need to thank me" she smiled.  Suddenly she remembered something.
