Chapter 02- Discovery

Next day they all met at the university.
In the biology class Alex was in another world when the professor questioned him, he could not answer.
"Last chance Alex" warned professor damon.
"Sorry sir"

The three friends were worried. Alex never gets punished by teachers for not paying attention in class.
At the break, Lin was on her own studying about a new experiment when she heard foot steps behind her. She was in the pool arina where she could study alone. But what was she hearing now.

It was some senior students from the university. They were not the best companions to be with. Lin knew trouble was on the way, so she stood up to leave.

" Hey, why are you leaving?" a tall dark figure appeared from the crowd and questioned. He was fine built and has a very bad reputation in the campus.

"I am done with my work, so I am leaving " Lin coolly replied. Some boys crossed her path.

" Say, pretty girl I'm sure you haven't met me but I sure do know you, and You are in for an unforgettable journey in your life." He smirked.

"I will meet you again in due time"

another boy with blond hair and green eyes replied. He was also tall ,built and stood out from others. Lin just smiled and left the place. She was lost in her own thoughts when she bumped into someone. It was Alex.

"Hey ,what's up? you look pretty scared"

"I ... I.. Nothing Alex" Stammered Lin.

Alex sensed something.

"I thought you were studying at the Pool"

"Well some guys came up so I came" Replied Lin. She sounded awfully scared. Alex was confused and he didn't question her after that.

"C'mon lets meet up with the others" Alex went with Lin.

Lin was all silent that day . she didn't even eat properly. After university they all went home.

Later that night Alex called Lin but her phone was switched off. He felt something was wrong with her.

Next day was a holiday. Alex was busy at home trying to get his assignments ready which were already late for submission, thanks to his day dreams.

Nick and Rachel has gone out for a date and Lin was near a lake close to their neighborhood. Lin always preferred a place where there is water to do her studies. Lin herself was puzzled by her attraction to water. Alex called Lin again. This time he was successful.

"hey where are you? I've been trying to contact you from yesterday, is everything ok?"

"Hey Alex, yeah everything is fine. I am at the lake doing my homework " replied Lin.

"Would you mind if I join you?" Asked Alex. He had no idea why he always wanted to be with Lin. It's not love. He thinks he has no feelings for any girl. But why did he always wanted to see her and be with her.

"Sure" and she cut the line . Lin was still in deep thought. A while after the call Lin heard the similar foot steps & voices approaching her which she heard at the pool the other day. She got terrified and turned to see no one. Again when she turned to her books. The voices continued and became close. Again she turned and she got a shock beyond belief.
