Rachel was just sitting on the floor looking at the symbol on her neck long lost in her own thought. She was not aware of the time, nor was Caleb he wanted to stay with her as much as he could. But he knew in the end it will only bring pain to her. He knew the others were waiting for their return to the meeting but he couldn't just leave her like that. She wouldn't talk to him after he gave her the medallion.

"Say something" , he finally said.

Rachel just looked at him devastated by the events happened and yet to happen. Her mind was not so strong as it was. She was injured badly, her friend is about to go to the hands of death, her other friends will be in the battlefield in less than 24 hours and all she could do is to sit and wait.

"Rachel I ha..." Before he could finish the other four of their friends came into the chamber.

Rachel stood up to face them.

"Guys i know this is not the very best moment for all of us to be in but we need to finish discussing this" it was Alex.

"How do we attack? there are so many soldiers on the island and I'm sure the cliff will be guarded the same. "

Caleb bent down and started to scribble something on the dusty floor.

"This is the cliff where my dad will have the ritual. He would keep it in the very edge, those are the coordinates for the portal. The scepter along with the seal will be kept on this and he will use the machine to open the seal."

He looked at his friends.

" How close should you be to the water to control it?"

Seth and Alex looked at each other.

"This is high elevation, Caleb, It's not easy to do it from up there. We need to be at least down the beach. What do you have in mind?" Seth inquired.

"You have to destroy the machine"

Seth & Alex looked at each other with a puzzled expression but then Seth figured out a strategy.

"Maybe if we could be in two places. You know Alex should be on top of the cliff while i push the waves up to the cliff  then from there you only need to guide it to crash the machine"
Seth finished with a smile.
Alex nodded in agreement. Others also thought it was a better plan.

Rachel began to feel something unusual, she sensed a change in the air. She wasn't the only one who was feeling it.

"Do you feel that?"

"Feel what? " Caleb did not feel anything.

" I do " Lin looked at Rachel with a doubtful gaze. Rachel never really worried so much unless it is something she was afraid as well.

"What do you feel?"Seth gently moved beside her. She looked at him with a wrinkled brow ,fear was written on her face. He could see goosebumps on her skin ,this was not normal of Lin.

"Seth remember what happened to me back in the cave?" her reply was shaky. Of course he remembered how Aria suddenly had come to life and tried to kill her. He slowly nodded his head. They moved out of the chamber into the main area.

"I think she is coming for us" Lin said with a terror written on her eyes. Seth stared at her and then focused his gaze on the entrance. they could see it was misty outside. Rachel was already moving towards the entrance when she saw her mother starring outside of the cave.

Rachel felt an unusual chill in the air, she knew something was not right she just hoped that it is not too late to figure it out. Her mother had spread her arms wide as if to receive something then something made Rachel stop in her tracks. Her mother's fingers were not the ones she remembers. They are pointed with sharpen nails, like a demo's. The hands fell on the place and slowly her mother turned to her. It is when she was met with a pair of bloodshot eyes, a pale face and a grin that nearly made her jump. Rachel's feet involuntarily moved back. Rest of the team moved closer to her.
