Meanwhile on the other side of the world, Rachel was having a stroll in the woods beside her home. She always loved strolls . She was happy that she is back with her family but she couldn't forgive herself for the misery she brought her friends before returning to her home. She couldn't bring herself to face them again. With deep thought she settled herself on a river bank.

"Still thinking about your friends?" it was Caleb, he has followed her . He waited for her permission to sit beside her. She nodded at him, so he settled himself next to her.

"I wish I hadn't caused them such misery before coming here"

"I guess it's what you feel when you have friends"

" haven't you ever had friends?"

Caleb smirked.

"Me? the chief's son? No . I tried to make friends when I was small but the kids were terrified of me. They saw me as a monster just as they see my father. I didn't get a chance to make friends. So I grew up alone, stronger and fierce. My father taught me how to combat and defend myself , I was apart of the mission to restore our lost honour from my younger days. When the kids in my age played with toys , I practiced martial art and sword fighting. I had no intention to have friends as I grew up. I was strong and independent. I didn't need anyone. I considered you as an acquaintance because you came more often to our mansion with your father"

He fixed his gaze upon the water.

" But friends are not just for benefits or because you can't be independent when they are around. Good friends take care of you, they be there for you at your ups and downs. I think your time alone with your father from the small days has taken away your human sense."

Caleb laughed.

"Could be . I may not have any humanity with me. But you are too bold to think people make friends because they care for you. Everyone has a purpose Rachel. People make contacts with the ones who can help them to succeed in their missions. The day you are not capable to do so is the day they disregard you like a fallen leaf"

"Is that why you are keeping contacts with me?"

Caleb was silent.

"Fine . But let me give you this piece of advice. Come out of your shell and see the real world for ones !,"

With that remark she got up and stomped away. Her words actually played in his mind. He trailed his gaze at her direction and then the sky. Night approaching their island. Glimpse of stars appeared in the night sky.

It was the break of a fresh day back in mystical island.

"Hey Lin wake up it's almost lunch time" it was the voice of a girl. Lin's mind was drifting and unclear. She stirred. Someone gently shook her.

"mmmmm" Lin murmured.

"wake up sun shine. You have slept almost half a day"

Lin opened her eyes it took her a few minutes to adjust her vision. Finally the fog in her eyes cleared. It was Alma. Lin pulled herself and looked around. Sun was shining brilliantly into the cave. She could see that she has slept late alot.

"How long was I asleep?"

"Well... you missed the breakfast .... master Ronan asked us not to disturb you. You have had long night he said. You could at least join us for lunch"

Lin nodded.

"How is Seth?"

Alma shot her a puzzled expression. "her friend is Alex but why is she bothering about some guy she met on an island?" she thought to herself.
