~(Y/n's) POV~
I couldn't just sit here anymore and wait for some kind of Prince Charming to rush through and carry me away. It's time to stop with these little girl dreams and toughen up.
I looked around the room for about the hundredth time, sighing as nothing caught my eye.
But that's when I saw the jagged nail sticking up from the floor board, which I quickly walked over to and started grinding the ropes on my wrists against.
I huffed in pain, the ropes were digging into my wrists, causing bad burns on my arms. But thankfully after a few minutes the ropes snapped, and I rubbed my wrists in relief. Thank god I got it off.
I looked around once again. It would be a few hours until the next shift came, but I have to act fast.
I went to the only object in the room, which was the wooden chair. I lifted it up, walked over to the door and knocked.
"I need to use the bathroom."
"Jeez. Fine." The man huffed, unlocking and opening the door. When it was open enough, I swung the chair.
"What the-" It came into contact with his head, the weak chair smashing to pieces and the man falling, hopefully unconscious.
I ran over to where my phone was, putting the battery in and turning it on.
After a few seconds I noticed it was still decently charged, so I called the first person in my recents list, Kaoru. It only took a few rings for the ginger to answer. "(Y/n)?!" He worriedly called out in desperation.
"Kaoru, oh god please send help. I've been in some abandoned house on...on..." I was trying to remember the street signs we passed, rubbing my head.
"Malacron Avenue and Lunar St! It's in a woode-"
"You little!" The man was up, punching me in the gut and causing me to drop my phone, luckily still open, hopefully the call was still in progress.
"Don't touch me!" I screamed, rubbing down the hall, the man being faster, grabbing my wrist. I hollered in pain from the burns, and he pushed me up against the wall. "You think you're smart?! You're weak!"
"Not as weak as you think!" I growled, bringing my knee up and connecting it to his family jewels. He gasped in pain, letting go and dropping to the floor. I ran back over to my phone.
"Kaoru?!"
"We're coming, (Y/n)! We have police on the way. Please, please stay safe until we get there." He pleaded as I huffed in relief. "Hurry."My eyes widened when I suddenly saw the man on his own phone. "Boss, she got out, they know where we are! Get over here so we can relocate!"
"Like hell!" I ran up, knocking the phone from his hand. He grabbed my wrist again, but I used my other hand to give him a good punch to the eye, but his grip tightened. "You aren't getting away that easily you runt."
"Big talk for a puny man." I laughed, biting his arm that held me. He yelled out, letting go and flinging me against the wall. I let out a small yelp as i felt a snap in my arm, and my body slide to the ground.
"You're lucky I don't kill you."
"Go ahead." I spat at him, wincing as my arm surged with pain. I heard the main door to the building open, and looked over to see the other two men enter, growling in anger.
"You little bit-!" One began, but was cut off by other people running into the house.
It was the police.
I'm saved.
"Put your hands up where we can see them!" There has to be at least ten officers, all with guns pointed to the men. I smiled in relief as I stood, and went to walk to them, but the man closest to me grabbed my broken arm, and held it behind my back.
"AHH!" I screamed out, biting my lip as he tightened his grip.
"Release the girl!"
"Make me." He was using me as a shield, they couldn't shoot or else I'd be in the way of the bullets. My breaths were heavy as I tried to ignore the pain in my arm.
I felt the mans grip release, along with a loud thud. I turned to see Honey, who had knocked the man out and a serious look on his face.
"H-Honey Senpai..?" I breathed out slowly, feeling my knees lock as I fell to the ground.
"(Y/n)-Chan!" He cried out, jumping forward and hugging me. I winced in pain as his body pressed against my arm, in which he quickly backed up.
"Oh no, your arm! It looks horrible!" He sobbed, looking up at me. I smiled at the crying boy, ruffling his hair with my good arm. "It's o-okay."
I looked over and saw the other men being handcuffed, and the one who was unconscious being handcuffed as well. I sighed in relief and one of the officers helped me up with my good arm, throwing it over his shoulder and helping me out of the building.
I shut my eyes harshly at the blinding sunlight, but enjoyed the warmth on my skin. It felt amazing to finally feel the suns rays again.
When my eyes finally adjusted to the light, I saw about a dozen police cars, the red and blue lights flashing, reflecting off of the dark trees and the old house.
Amongst all the cars and police, I also found the host club, all gathered together with various expressions on their faces.
Tamaki was sobbing, muttering something or another about me being safe. Kyoya and Mori both wore their usual expressions, and Haruhi looked so relieved. She must have been so worried.
Hikaru let a breath when he finally saw me, one that he was probably holding for a while, and gave me a smirk and a thumbs up.
Kaoru, however, didn't look relieved, or happy, or sad.
He looked empathetic. I knew he was relieved, but he was looking deeper than just at me. He stared at my bruised and broken arm, and burned up wrists. He saw the dark circles under my eyes, and the exhaustion in my face.
He was the first of the group to approach me, his eyes now bearing into mine, searching for answers to all the questions in his head.
"I'm so sorry." He finally breathes out, frowning as he looked down at my arm.
"We are going to escort Ms. (L/n) to the hospital, then ask her some questions." The officer holding me up said, and I nodded.
That's when I noticed the ambulance, to which I was helped over to, and placed on a stretcher. It wasn't a bed, but I had been sleeping on rotting wood for the last week, and it felt like heaven at the moment.
I let my eyes rest as paramedics rushed me into the ambulance, but I opened them slightly when I saw Kaoru enter the vehical, taking a seat beside me. "Care if I ride with you?"
I gave the ginger a small smile, and nodded.
"Go ahead."
The doors closed, and the sirens began to wail as the ambulance took off. I closed my eyes once more, drifting off into a much needed sleep.~a few hours later, at the hospital~
"Ms. (L/n)?"
I opened my eyes slightly, blinking a few times to adjust to the lighting of the room. I looked around, seeing a doctor to my left, and some officers to my right. I sat up, now taking note that my arm was in a cast, and on a sling across my chest.
"How are you feeling?"
I took a deep breath. I felt a lot better, though my arm was sore. I looked to to see my wrists wrapped up too, and a few bandages could be notably felt around my body.
"Better. A little sore." I looked up at the doctor who nodded. "I'm going to keep you over night to watch over your vitals, the last week you weren't given enough food and water and your body tried to shut down, after using too much energy to fight off that guy."
"Oh..." that would explain why my legs gave out after I was finally free.
"I'm going to step out while they give you some questions." I nodded, and watched as he left. The two policemen pulled up chairs, one taking out a notebook.
"Hello ms. (L/n). Do you mind answering some questions for us?" I shook my head and the men nodded. After about twenty minutes, the policemen finally left and I leaned back into my pillows. I perked up a bit when I saw a nurse walk in.
"Would you like some visitors? It's your friends from school."
"Yes, please."
With that, she opened the door wider and the entirety of the host club walked in, surrounding my bed.
"(Y/n), we're so happy you're okay, well for the most part." Tamaki said sadly, looking down to my casted arm.
"Do you guys wanna sign it?" I smiled to them, causing a few of them to smile.
Hikaru pulled a marker from his pocket, but it was snatched by Kaoru. I pulled my arm out of the sling, and held it towards him, in which he wrote his name on a majority of the cast.
"No fair, Kaoru." Hikaru pouted, taking the marker and writing his name a bit smaller.
The guys took turns, managing to somehow cover my whole cast. I laughed towards them, but my smile faltered. I was exhausted. And torn. I still couldn't get over them calling my father.
"(Y/n)?" I snapped out of my little trance and looked up at the boys, and Haruhi.
"Yeah?"
"The hospital called your mom, but..uh she didn't want to come up. She's gonna send someone to pick you up tomorrow when you're out." Tamaki said sadly, looking away to avoid my eyes, but I just smiled.
"Typical Mother, alright."
My heart stung, but is it bad I was starting to get used to this disappointment?(Omg, guys I went from 8 reads to over 30 in one day and it's not a lot but thank you to everyone whose been reading! I know I'm not the best, but I'm trying. If you have ANY suggestions or plot twists or story add one I would love the suggestions! I want to drag this story out a little, not like an instant love thing. I want friendships and drama and stuff to be explained.
